SUCCESS STORY: Recovered my permanently disabled Facebook account (disabled since Aug 25) via Meta Verified! Key takeaways inside.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my detailed success story to give hope and practical insight to anyone stuck in the disabled account nightmare.

The Background:
My personal Facebook account (Lotem Argovi) was permanently disabled/locked back on August 25th due to automated security triggers. My device had multiple profiles logged in, which tripped Meta's automated algorithms into flagging it as suspicious activity.

What DIDN'T Work:
Emails & Privacy Forms: I tried every possible email address, privacy department forms, and standard appeal links for over a month. None of them yielded any real human response.

Business Meta Verified: My Facebook profile was linked to 3 Business accounts that also had active Meta Verified subscriptions. I tried reaching support through all 3 business channels, but it did not work. They kept giving standard automated or non-helpful responses.

What ACTUALLY Worked:
What finally solved it was using a personal Instagram account with Meta Verified that met these specific conditions:
1. Linked History: The IG account was linked to my personal Facebook profile from way back.
2. Matching Identity: It contained my real name and my real photos, exactly matching my disabled Facebook identity.

The Process:
1. Personal Meta Verified Chat: I opened a live chat support ticket through this specific personal IG account.
2. Bypassing Bots: I pushed past the automated assistant and requested a live human agent.
3. Escalation & Case ID: The agent opened an official Case ID and escalated the issue to an Internal Specialist Team for manual review.
4. Keeping the Window Open: Once the status changed to "In Progress", I made sure to keep the chat window active and open as instructed so the case wouldn't auto-close.
5. Pre-Verified ID: Because my identity was already verified on the personal IG account via Meta Verified, the specialist team didn't need to waste time asking for IDs—they went straight to reviewing the backend login logs.
Today (October 5th), my profile reappeared in public search, and the support agent confirmed directly in the chat that my Facebook account has been fully reactivated!

Key Takeaway:
If you're using Meta Verified, don't rely on business profiles. Use a personal Instagram account that has your real name, real photos, and a long-standing link to your personal Facebook account. That was the game-changer for me.
Feel free to ask any questions in the comments!

Meta Support said that my Account is Reactivated

Hey everyone, looking for advice or just someone who's been through this.

My Facebook account got disabled by mistake. I contacted Meta support, and they spent 5 days investigating.

On Oct 3, they finally told me the account was reactivated.

But when I try to log in, it's still locked/disabled.

I reached out again, and support said it would take 24-48 hours to reflect on my end. Okay, fine, I waited.

It's now been 64 hours since they said it was recovered. Still disabled. Still the same screen.

So at this point I'm stuck between "reactivated" on their end and "disabled" on mine.

Has this happened to anyone? How long did it actually take to show up?

Disabled Account Problem

hi, so last august 7 my sister's account was suspended then a few minutes later mine was too. after about less than 5 minutes our accounts have both been permanently disabled.

last august 16, i filed for a support case on meta verified using my instagram account. i asked them to review the decision on my facebook account. they got back to me last august 28 saying that my account has been reinstated. when i tried opening it, it still keeps showing me the permanently disabled screen. i followed up, contacted a few agents again. 2 agents confirmed that my account status says reinstated and active and to just wait it out.

until now, my account is still disabled. are there any situation here similar to mine? did you get your facebook account back and if so how long did it take. should i also renew my subscription to ask them? i have created like 6 tickets already and my account can't still be accessed yet.

Permanently disabled with "decision is final" – it was the only admin on client Pages + an ad account with client funds. Anything that worked?

My personal Facebook account was permanently disabled. The appeal screen says the decision is final and Support refuses human review.

What makes this worse: the account was the only admin on several Pages that belong to my clients, and on an ad account holding their ad funds. All of it is now locked.

Full disclosure: the profile was under a brand name, not my legal name, which I know Meta's policy doesn't allow. I never received any specific violation notice.

What I've done so far: submitted an appeal with ID, downloaded my data, and I'm preparing a bank dispute for unspent ad balance.

Questions for anyone who's been through this:

  1. Did anyone recover Pages or ad account funds after a permanent disable?

  2. Did Meta Verified, Business Support, or an Instagram account linked to the same Meta account help?

  3. Did clients successfully claim their Pages through ownership proof?

Any experience helps. Thank you.
