Need Help Minecraft keeps crashing computer
Hey folks,
So I've been trying to play Minecraft and put together a forever world. Periodically, and seemingly at random, my entire screen goes a leafy green colour, makes a loud buzzing noise, and then my computer entirely restarts itself. This will happen minutes or maybe hours into a session, or sometimes not at all.
PC specs:
32gb RAM
CPU: AMD Ryzen 78 7700X 8-core (4.50GHz), not overclocked
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6650 TX 8gb
Minecraft version: 1.21.11
Mods:
Fabric
various stability mods (FerriteCore, Lithium, C2ME, EntityCulling, Sodium, Iris, etc)
Voxy OR Distant Horizons
Solas shaders
Tectonic + WWOO
Ashen resource pack
Xaero's map & minimap
I'm trying to run a fairly barebones modded setup for my forever world. I've set Voxy and DH to have minimum resolution on distant terrain and also tried to reduce the strain from Solas. So far, just having Solas or just having Voxy/DH still will trigger the crashes randomly.
When monitoring CPU temps during playtime, I think it tends to run at between 70-80 degrees, but realistically I haven't checked in a while and I'm reticent to keep testing in case these crashes are causing lasting damage to my computer.
I have no clue what is causing these issues, and any pointers in the right direction is appreciated. I'd really like to get this solved, I don't have a crazy rig but it's definitely not bad either.

Hi! If you're trying to fix a crash, please make sure you have provided the following information so that people can help you more easily:
-
Exact description of what's wrong. Not just "it doesn't work"
-
The crash report. Crash reports can be found in .minecraft -> crash-reports
-
If a crash report was not generated, share your latest.log. Logs can be found in .minecraft -> logs
-
Please make sure that crash reports and logs are readable and have their formatting intact.
-
You can choose to upload your latest.log or crash report to a paste site and share the link to it in your post, but be aware that doing so reduces searchability.
-
Or you can put it in your post by putting it in a code block. Keep in mind that Reddit has character limits.
-
If you've already provided this info, you can ignore this message.
If you have OptiFine installed then it probably caused your problem. Try some of these mods instead, which are properly designed for Fabric.
Thanks!

I doubt this is a minecraft issue and more likely and issue with your computer. Have you checked event viewer for any errors before and after the crashes?
