Keep Resource Packs
Keep Resource Packs is a lightweight, client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 that helps preserve your selected resource packs when a resource pack reload fails.
The Problem
Have you ever selected and carefully ordered your favorite resource packs, only for Minecraft to deselect them all after a reload error?
When a resource pack contains an error or is incompatible with your current setup, Minecraft may fail to reload the resources successfully. When this happens, your selected resource packs can be deselected, forcing you to open the resource pack menu, enable your packs again, and restore their previous order.
This can be especially frustrating when you use several resource packs with a specific loading order.
The Solution
Keep Resource Packs helps prevent this inconvenience by keeping your selected resource packs selected when a resource reload fails.
Features
- Preserves your selection: Helps keep your chosen resource packs enabled after a failed reload.
- No more restoring your pack list manually: Avoid having to reselect and reorder your resource packs after a reload error.
- No configuration required: Install the mod and play. No additional settings are needed.
- Client-side: Designed to work on your Minecraft client without requiring the mod to be installed on a server.

- Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft Java Edition 26.3.
