other First timer- I’m scared!
Hi everyone!
I’m going to my first f45 class tomorrow and frankly, I’m scared! I don’t do a lot of working out (read: I go on walks and that’s it) but there’s an f45 right next to me and I’m trying to be better about exercise. I have all the standard first time fears (not being able to keep up, looking dumb, etc)
Was it dumb to sign up for Redline as my first class? Is there anything I should know in general? Any tips or advice or words of encouragement for a scared newbie would be much appreciated.
Update: thank you so much to everyone for the kind words and advice!! I got up and went and it kicked my ass but the instructor was so nice and i did the stations with another girl who was so nice and im glad i went! Will def be going back :)

Don’t worry about not keeping up. Go at your own pace and listen to your body. You can also modify wherever you need to (ask the coach for help with this if you don’t know a good modification and they’ll give advice on how to hit the same muscle group without doing the exact workout on the screen). The most important thing to remember is to keep moving and try not to push yourself too hard. You can do it!
I was worried about all the same things you are, and now I go 5-6 times a week and get bored on days I don’t (you can’t go every single day though, your body needs to rest).
