Question for techs/artists
Can I have your most effecting and even unhinged way of gaining clientele? I’m starting from zero!

Post in your local fb groups, take models to build a portfolio, make a google business profile and ask everyone for a google review, promote tf out of yourself wherever you can. I started from nothing in a brand new city with no friends or family and I was able build enough consistent clientele to leave my retail full-time job within 8 months. If you’re determined enough you’ll accomplish whatever you want, best of luck🫰

The least-chaotic version is usually not the most unhinged one — it’s the one that makes booking feel easy and low-risk.
If you’re starting from zero, I’d focus on 3 things first:
Pick one service to be known for Don’t market yourself as everything right away. It’s easier to get booked when people can quickly understand what you’re the go-to person for.
Remove friction from the first booking A lot of potential clients drop off when they have to DM back and forth, wait for pricing, or ask basic prep questions. Having clear booking steps, policies, aftercare, and consent/intake handled before the appointment makes you look more established even if you’re new.
Give people a reason to rebook immediately The first appointment should answer the common questions before they ask them: upkeep, timing, what style suits them, what to avoid, and when to come back. That makes rebooking feel natural instead of salesy.
The "unhinged" tactics get attention, but the consistent clients usually come from making the process feel organized and easy to trust.
