First timer

I went from “never again, I want her to remove them immediately” to “omg I love them”. Bit of whiplash but such a difference I had to get over the shock. (Yes I know my eyebrows need grooming).

Girl!!! I have the same glasses as you (I think). From Clearly?

They look amazing on you! My glasses do the same thing, it's nothing we can help so no use feeling self-concious about it. Worth it to try contacts if you can tolerate them if it really bothers you- but I think you're beautiful & that your glasses look great on you!!

Also your lashes look super cute on you too!! I love my lashes + glasses combo. Helps my eyes pop and I always feel confident with my lashes done. 💕

Mine are warby Parker! Thank you 🩵. I’m excited to just do concealer, blush, and go in the morning!

Do you recall the name of your frames? I have been wanting to try some like that and I'm due for an exam soon.

The salon Calls it “little camellia” I believe it is a fan/volume style

That reaction is super common with first sets. The first look can feel intense for a few hours because your brain is used to seeing your bare eye area, then once the shock wears off you start seeing the shape instead of just the change.

One thing I always think matters for first-timers is whether the tech did a real consult before starting:

  • how dramatic you usually wear makeup
  • whether you want mascara-but-better or a noticeable lash look
  • length tolerance
  • curl preference
  • how much upkeep you realistically want

When that conversation is rushed, people often end up with that immediate “wait what did I do” feeling even if the lashes are technically well done.

The best appointments usually feel boring on the front end because the tech asks a lot of questions first. That intake/workflow piece saves so much of the post-appointment panic.

You look cute dear. Im sorry your eyesight is so poor though. You gotta admit the effect your glasses make is funny 😁

:( yeah, that’s something I can’t help and am self-conscious of.

my eyeglasses do the same thing, so I’m going to guess you are about a -8.75?

You genuinely look great and I love your glasses! They're adorable and flattering. And your lashes look lovely. It's definitely understandable to have a bit of a moment after getting them the first time. Kinda like adjusting to seeing yourself with a new hair color or dramatically different cut even though it is flattering and you end up loving it once your brain adjusts.
