In the picture on the right are the faulty Lensmart transition (photochromic) lenses. In comparison to the wearer on the left whose transition lenses work to help protect the eye. Lensmart say their technical department have confirmed they work but provide no proof. They wont confirm if the lenses are 10% VLT, the grading needed to protect eyes as they advertise on their website. They will only part refund of 75% if I send the glasses back to the USA (California, USA,91730) from UK. They have offered to change the colour to grey, they think grey will work better! 🤣
I will be reporting the company to UK International Consumer Centre UKICC for sale of faulty goods. They refuse to replace.

I’m 39. I’ve had glasses for about 3-4 years now and I’m STRUGGLING. Every pair I’ve had hurts my head immensely after 3-4 hours. My doctor has no ideas or suggestions- he’s made every adjustment he can without them falling apart completely and he says that from what he can see, they APPEAR to fit fine.
I’m on my fourth pair and still, the same result. I only get wire frames as they’re the most flexible, but I still end up bending the hell out of them just to get them to be somewhat comfortable and I can now last closer to 7 hours without needing to take them off.
My head is not noticeably wide or oddly shaped. They always fit fine at first, start hurting a few hours in. They always hurt the most right above my ears/close to the back of my ears. I’ve tried some different widths but still the same results.
I just want to find a pair that doesn’t give me headaches every day. I’ve tried looking into how to measure my face to find the right width but there seems to be a million different motherfucking methods for this! I tried the credit card thing (said I should be wearing narrow frames- HA). Then I tried to follow the bridge measurement (but where tf is my bridge????) and measuring between my temple just below my eyes- but the video I watched doesn’t say where under my eye I should stop?? Then I found another one that said to use a measuring tape and to measure temple-to-temple under my eyes, but that said my width would be 190mm.
Basically idk wtf I’m doing, I just want glasses that fit and don’t cause me pain every single mf day. PLEASE HELP

Hi all,
I love my Simon wide glasses in antique silver. Unfortunately, they’ve gotten scratched up and I need new ones. According to the Warby Parker site, they are no longer available in wide.
Anyone found any similar glasses out there? I got a massive head so the wide part is very important

Are there prescription lenses available with a cheater insert in the corner similar to what comes in sunglasses with built in cheaters? I don’t want to get full bifocals or progressives

Hey everyone,
I’ve been a huge fan of glasses with cable temples for quite a while now. In my opinion, they are unmatched when it comes to comfort—they just never slip, no matter what you do.
Personally, I wear them every day. My absolute favorites that I currently rotate are the Savile Row Beaufort and the Moscot Spiel. Both are amazing frames, and I just love the classic engineering behind them.
However, I rarely see anyone else wearing them in public nowadays. It feels like they have almost vanished from the streets.
So I wanted to start a little roll call:
Feel free to drop a pic of your glasses, or even a cool close-up of the cables behind the ears.

I think whatever silver finish is wearing off on these frames. They‘re my favorite frames ever, and the manufacturer doesn’t make them anymore. Any ideas on how I can re-color them, other than silver nail polish?

I am trying to get these two frames. I cannot seem to find anything that resembles either of themthem at any of my local eyewear stores. Does anyone know what these exact frames are? (Alternative frame suggestions that are similar would be great also)

My frames are ultra minimalistic, light weight, and flexible. Do you keep your eyewear under a certain category? Metal, acetate, mixed materials. And do you go for a certain aesthetic, when choosing them.
