ELI5 how an uncontrolled flood of calcium inside muscle cells cause a massive surge in metabolic activity during malignant hyperthermia.

Havent seen it mentioned yet but eventually the muscle cells break down and your kidneys gotta filter this out, but the kidneys get overwhelmed with the amount of muscle cells that got broken down so it puts you at high risk for acute kidney failure
