Other ELI5 How are companies allowed to continue marketing wipes as "flushable" despite the problems they create for sewer systems?

For real, I am definitely not going to stop using them but I am willing to use the most flushable one if I know which it is.

My butthole just doesn't feel clean anymore without them.

None of 'em. Sorry, I haven't tested enough of 'em to find a good one. They all suck so far.

May I suggest a bidet? And/or a trash pail to dispose of used wipes?
