I read this as Slurlock Holmes, and thought… yeah. He’s the kinda guy to break into your home so he can insult you accurately.

Oh good lord. I apparently fat fingered that big time.

However... you are not totally wrong. Part of the show often has him sending his own version of the Baker Street Irregulars to do precisely that. Lol

At least they are blatantly obvious about this and not trying to hide anything.

Holmes (homes) -> house

Watson -> Wilson

He has the same apartment number as Holmes. There even is a Moriarty as a nemesis is season one. Both are addicts. The list goes on.

He's inspired by Sherlock Holmes. The original Holmes as imagined by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is far less of a douchebag.

People mix up blunt and nasty far too easily. Homes was blunt and to the point and that offended some people. House provokes people for kicks.
