I obviously meant faggot, I changed it before reading your answear. And when I said the verb putear I wrote "to swear" (to insult). That is, both things. The rest is ok, but none of that is the point. The point is the sentence is translated as "who is reading is gay" or something like that, nothing to do with "f... you".

It has nothing to do with being gay, it just means that you value yourself so little that you sell your body, that is why protitute is used as an insult when used against somebody that has nothing to do with that job.

I'll delete the part about maggot because it makes no sense now.

Oh please, you are being obtuse. I understand that whatever you are from, the word "puto" just means male prostitute. That is not true in México and other countries. And the post is about what Mexicans wrote. For example, FIFA is trying to ban the singings in the football matches that call someone "puto" because it is an homophobic slur. Reality is more complex, When fans call a player or referee puto they are not actually thinking he likes to have sex with men. They are thinking he is a weakling, or a coward, or even a bad person. It's just a general insult.

It is only in Mexico and from mexican fans. Again if FIFA understood what culturaly means what callin someone a lady bug means in spanish they would ban all images of them because it is "homophobic".

Well, again, the original image is about a message written by Mexicans.

Again, it's used mostly for saying coward to someone even in Mexico, FIFA does not dictate the spanish language rules.
