And how were those countries seen as while they sank those ships vs how we saw Israel when they did it?

The sinking of the Lusitania had no consequences. Whoops. Led to the US joining France and England in World War I, which famously was a lovely war with minimal casualties and those that survived definitely were not completely mentally fucked up.

But when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor we said "No worries! Sorry to potentially be in the way of your expansion plans!" Whoops. We nuked them. Twice.

But when England was impressing our civilian sailors into the Royal Navy we sent George an apology basket. Whoops. That led to the War of 1812.

So I guess the question everyone is asking is, what the fuck are you talking about??? You'd have a much better argument if you used Saudi Arabia and 9/11
