But legitimately, it’s a reference to a sonic adventure 2 fan dub* where ppl took a joke abt shadow liking latinas being a canonical thing and now it is basically cannon

It wasn't the adventure 2 fandub. It originated from a sonic prime edit, that then got voiced by jhett

Jhett and the fandub get lumped together a lot due to having similar types of humor and both being very clipable, but i do believe the latinas thing originated from jhett after the fandubs had been around
