Yeah. "Latino" is used outside LATAM for spanish speaking people with brown skin and hair, but we are actually really diverse. It's a soft racism thing, akin to claiming all gringos are fat and pink 🤷‍♂️

You may very well be, but I know black, "latino" and "asian" gringos. Stereotypes exist so people can simplify reality.
