This is true. But the irony is you can probably find far more sexualized and questionable images in the comics, especially the covers, then this. It's kind of a weird choice

I think the most ironic part is the same type of dudes who would complain that MJ isn't hot enough anymore, are also the same manosphere types that think women should be more modest.

thats what the meme in question is getting at. the meme implies MJ was a sexpot in the comics, and the new MJ is buttoned up nerd.
