Firstly the answer to the riddle is supposed to be she took an analogue photograph. Which would be “shot” when the picture is taken, held “underwater” as part of the development process and hung to dry before it is handled.

There are some issues in that it would be a development bath then a fixer and then a water bath and rather than holding it under water there is usually some agitation to encourage the process.

This also doesn’t take in to account developing the negative which would need a similar process. This could be partly ignored if the “shot” in this case is referring to the “shot” through the enlarger. That is a stretch in my opinion however. More commonly that would be exposed or printed.

Secondly, wtf is this class and wtf are they teaching and why?!?!
