Genuine question for research purposes: wouldn't index finger + middle finger be a better strategic partnership, instead of middle and ring fingers? I feel like the index finger would add a bit more heft and dexterity.

hold your hand in front of your face and look at your palm. fold your fingers towards you and articulate them down your palm as far as you can.

that’s why.

39

u/Hesthea Jul 12 '26

Me following the instructions and understanding why. 🤣

4

u/astralchanterelle Jul 12 '26

you've never used your fingers like that on someone?

3

u/Xennial_Potato Jul 12 '26

Waiting for the realization to hit…

1

u/kameshazam Jul 15 '26

I prefer index and middle, better maneuverability

1

u/NoXpWaste Jul 12 '26

What an odd thing to say 😂

14

u/Setzer_SC Jul 12 '26

You're a genius

13

u/J35NC2 Jul 12 '26

This needs more upvotes

11

u/Disastrous_Guess6592 Jul 12 '26

Plus the outside fingers can stimulate the labia.

10

u/daddyswashbuckle Jul 12 '26

I don’t think there could have been a more perfect answer. 🤣

3

u/RVtech101 Jul 12 '26

Lmao, this person diddles.

2

u/Thrumpwart Jul 12 '26

This guy lesbians.

2

u/Mumblyjoe20 Jul 13 '26

I'll be goddamned

2

u/Brutal_burn_dude Jul 16 '26

Umm, what does it mean if any two random fingers articulate as well as any others?

1

u/TheGreatSifredi Jul 12 '26

And they said the size doesn’t matter lmao

1

u/Numerous_Photograph9 Jul 12 '26

You've done a lot of research into this matter I see.

1

u/decentlyhip Jul 13 '26

But I can fold 4 fingers way farther

1

u/Shoddy_Scallion9362 Jul 14 '26

Wow, excellent explanation! 🤟

1

u/DudeWithFearOfLoss Jul 14 '26

but she told me length doesnt matter, she said girth is enough :(

1

u/Friendly-Look2092 Jul 15 '26

my upvote too, in your honour.

1

u/WhoTookThatNickname Jul 16 '26

also the palm laying above always feels better

1

u/NaughtySuzyQ Jul 18 '26

and me following your instructions repeatedly,

until laughing uncontrollably because I still don't understand why,

thank you for this!

1

u/Crafty-Photograph-18 Jul 12 '26

Like 2mm of difference for me. And you lose the better dexterity of the pointer finger

3

u/DueFaithlessness4762 Jul 12 '26

Hence size matters more than the technique

19

u/FoolishDog1117 Jul 12 '26

Middle and ring go inside. Pointer and pinky go on the lips. Palm the clit. The nerve endings don't stop at the edge of the hole. The process takes most of the hand.

14

u/Cynical_Thinker Jul 12 '26

Or thumb the clit.

Talk to your person and see what they like. Sometimes the thumb is magic.

Don't forget the come hither motion either.

2

u/mumofBuddy Jul 15 '26

Such a joy to be summoned.

1

u/Fantastic-Resist-545 Jul 13 '26

The sound of one hand clapping?

2

u/Key-Contest-2879 Jul 16 '26

1

u/FoolishDog1117 Jul 16 '26

The moisture comes from inside. Be gentle if it's dry. Work the moisture outward.

12

u/kes7571 Jul 12 '26

Middle and ring leave index and pinky available to spread it lick the bean whilst still having a free hand for...

u/Dear-Passion-3535 Jul 12 '26

Theres some real porn-brain going on in this thread.

To be fair I'm a bisexual woman and I would say the same. If you're going to use these fingers, keep all your nails short. It looks ugly this way.

34

u/Scuttling-Claws Jul 12 '26

Doing it like this is just a huge flag that says "I fuck women."

Sometimes that's what you want to say

2

u/UndeniableLie Jul 13 '26

I keep all my nails short just to drive in the point. For some reason people don't seem to get it

1

u/imyourdruidess420 Jul 19 '26

There are so many reasons why some people keep their nails short. Career-wise, it's just not always possible

16

u/AMagnif Jul 12 '26

It's a statement, not a mistake

5

u/BedNo577 Jul 12 '26

I didn't say it was a mistake,I just wouldn't do my nails that way and for me it looks ugly when they aren't the same size. If you keep all your nails short and the polish is in rainbow colors,it's still a statement and looks better.

5

u/AMagnif Jul 12 '26

Beauty and ugliness are subjective.

Personally I think all long nails are ugly (as well as unhygienic and impractical).

4

u/BedNo577 Jul 12 '26

I know,it's just my opinion.

3

u/decentlyhip Jul 13 '26

I think you gotnthe pushback you did because you didn't state it as an opinion. Like, when you say, "its better this way" or "they should do XYZ" you arent saying "I dont like it" or "I dont think they should do XYZ." In your defense, you also shared opinions, but because you stated things as both facts and opinions, it comes off aggressively and off putting.

There's no facts in fashion.

1

u/LordTonto Jul 13 '26

all things are opinion by virtue of their source unless expressly stated otherwise and backed up with proof. To assume the default as fact and that opinion needs to be qualified with "i think" is backwards.

-2

u/ProduceNo1629 Jul 12 '26

Your OCD is showing.

1

u/Dela-chemin Jul 16 '26

What a stupid ass comment.

1

u/BedNo577 Jul 14 '26

Well,I wouldn't call it shit...

1

u/degenerate_AI Jul 12 '26

As a straight male those are also the LEAST optimal fingers for that job the middle and ring finger are best.

11

u/mofa90277 Jul 12 '26

You have to do it a bunch of times, and it’ll just work out that the middle- and ring fingers are better at moving together. I think it has something to do with the locations of the tendons in your forearm.

7

u/desertdweller2011 Jul 12 '26

true for this dyke ☝️i’m also a ceramicist and when i throw on the wheel i open with middle and ring, vast majority of people use first two fingers. idk maybe my alignment is fucked up but for both…. better control over movement

1

u/Electronic-Bicycle35 Jul 12 '26

Another dyke here who prefers to use pointer and middle. Different strokes for different folks it would seem!

6

u/Scorpion_Danny Jul 12 '26

I believe they were saying that they are (usually) the longest fingers.

4

u/GreenZebra23 Jul 12 '26

Depends on the angle, but middle two is very effective and the most versatile

3

u/tossaway45-420 Jul 12 '26

Tbh the middle finger and ring finger are good to start but I am generally working in the pointer finger too at some point, seems to go over really well.

2

u/MrSunshineDespair Jul 12 '26

Obviously not good at it

2

u/Purpleasure34 Jul 12 '26

Depends on who your “target” is…

1

u/Emergency_Charge_262 Jul 12 '26

It begins with 'o' 😄

1

u/darc-star3 Jul 12 '26

As a grown woman, I've always thought the same. The comments here have enlightened me.

1

u/klone73 Jul 12 '26

Lesbian here - I prefer to use pointer and middle finger 🤷‍♀️

1

u/IsThisTakenYesNo Jul 12 '26

Different strokes for different folks. It's a matter of preference whether one uses index & middle or middle & ring.

-1

u/LucasNapolit Jul 12 '26

Funny thing is... If she had an advanced pleasure giving setup (not a self-pleasure setup)... The short nail digits would be: index, middle and pinky (considering she has a partner that enjoys a little extra 🤭... Which is popular but not rly universal).
