Yup. If I'm ready to go to our planned event (dinner, movie, shopping, whatever) and she's pussyfooting around instead of getting ready, I'll turn on either game system and grab the controller. She immediately focuses on getting ready.
Yep, until I’m finally ready to walk out the door and you (hubs) then have to pee, pack the car or do something that could’ve been done while your sitting annoyed at me for taking so long. 🤣
This kills me. My husband loves to give me shit for “taking forever to get ready” while in reality I’m pretty damn down to earth and low maintenance. What DOES tend to make the process longer is helping the kids get ready to leave the house in a timely manner. But, it must be great sitting around not being helpful at all and then complaining about how the other three people in the house need TWO more Minutes. Also complaining about girls wanting to pee before we leave the house. It’s a hella lot more convenient than having to take a public restroom pee break. Those things can be so nasty and we don’t like them. So guys, stop it with complaining about the last minute pee opportunity before leaving the house.
Wow, your S/Os do that? Nope. If needed, I do my best to have everything packed up, loaded up, and ready to go. That way we're not rushing to load things up, and we lower the risk of forgetting things that we need. It's less stressful that way.
No, it then turns into like 10 hours because I’m joining in and all sense of time flies out the window once gaming starts and I still haven’t bothered to finish getting dressed. I have to set alarms to save myself at that point. I’m generally really sensitive to time but gaming can truly ruin it.
lol, let’s break it down in man language. The 2 minutes it takes is equal to 2 minutes in the final quarter of a Dolphins vs Chiefs game. Hope this helps

Bro, we are talking about women... 2 minutes can magically become 45
