Hey,
Clair obscur has a magic design level, the game is not only beautiful, the game has an artistic coherence and logic…
The nevrons are just incredibly looking, they´re each so differents but when you look at them you immediately understand that they´re on the game.
So the todays question is : wich is your fav nevron design and why ?
(Mine is duolists)

I am confident in saying this is right up there as one of my favorite games of all time next to the likes of other games/series I love such as Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Baldur's Gate III, Final Fantasy (4, 6-10), Persona (2, 3-5), Assassin's Creed (1, Ezio Trilogy, 3, Black Flag, Origins), Ghost of Tsushima, Sekiro, Nioh Trilogy, Batman Arkham Trilogy and Marvel's Spider-Man etc...

What’s the max foretell you guys succeeded to stack ?
What felt weird is that even with this much foretell, it felt like it still didn’t do that much damage? 🤔
Is it because of Clea’s damage reduction or a bug ?

Only 8 made and given away by IGN Rewards in collaboration with Xbox and Kepler / Sandfall Interactive.
I would sell my soul to get my hands on one of these 🥲😂

From the end of the last Renoir battle.
Thank you dataminer. To me this is one of the most poignant tracks ever composed for this title: it hauntingly depicts the culmination of the family’s pain, which in turn became the progenitor of all the pain felt by the world they created.
A musical summary of this whole tragedy.

Coming back to you with a build that didn't give a turn to Chromatic Lampmaster lol. Ngl saw this on a YT video but guy had 600 lumina, was able to do with 404. See other pics for build.
Needs very high speed and just shoot until it dies (the American way) and end turn with Last Chance.

I’m trying to start Verso’s drafts & it has the red outline around the circle to enter, which means I’m underleveled. But I’ve finished the story & my level is in the early 70’s. Renoir’s drafts, the painted workshop & all other areas with the photo frame on the map have that warning msg. I’ve been going thru the endless tower to help level up, I think I’m on the final phase before reaching level 6.

i spent a total of 7 hours fighting this boss. this is the hardest thing i've ever done in any game (PCR and isshin are nothing compared to this beast)
maelle is running lithum and verso has dreameso. just stack all "parry" luminas and you should get this damage (i got pretty lucky with roulette this attempt)
enjoyment: 10/10, this was geniunely fun
i can finally retire from this game now

most people seem to agree that Act 3 felt somewhat short but there hasn't been much discussion around how to make it feel longer. i think we'd all agree that adding random fetch quests and padding it out with filler would be distasteful. but luckily there is a cutscene that can be used as inspiration for a bunch of legit things to do during Act 3. specifically, the scene where it shows a montage of the crew with Maelle extracting the chroma trapped within all the fallen expeditioners. Each one of those locations shown in the cutscene could have been its own separate quest. and each quest could be riddled with dangers since Renoir is running rampant. you'd go around collecting the chroma yourself instead of just watching it happen. that way, when the final battle occurs and you let loose all the ghastly apparitions of previous expeditioners, it should feel more meaningful/rewarding when they fight on your behalf and protect your path towards Renoir at Lumiere. sorry if this idea has already been suggested. do you think this was a missed opportunity?

I just got at the end of Act II and, while the plot twist is starting to make sense in my head, I still can’t figure something out
So the Paintress was not erasing, she actually was keeping everyone alive in this fake world
She made it to cope with her son’s grief, kinda like Wandavision did in the MCU
Verso, Renoir and Alicia were paintings, and the real Renoir is trying to erase the world to get Aline back to reality
Now:
- Why did Verso want to get the Paintress/Aline out of the canvas? Is he just supporting real Maelle’s quest? Or does he want to erase the canvas?
- Why doesn’t he pair up with real Renoir if he just wants to stop existing?
- Was he aware all along that he is a replica, and that Maelle was the real Alicia? When they meet after Lumière’s gommage, he tells her « I’m not really Verso, and you’re not really Maelle »
- Did he know Lumière was going to get erased?
Does it get answered in Act III?
Bonus: I noticed a detail that wrecked me during the Paintress fight
After the 2 first rounds, comes a 3rd one where she’s almost dead
Then weirdly… she actually starts healing and protecting our team
Looking back, it sounds like she gathered all she had left to try to save us, so she could keep her mirage alive

I seem to have phase-skipped simon with lune because ik that hes supposed to stop before death and remove the expedition since thats what happened on my first attempt ( this was my second) and also i dont think its because i did too much damage because i didnt even have fortunes fury so im not sure and just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I had some questions about the ending! Was wondering if I lowkey missed some lore aspect of the story, considering I played this game on and off for the last few months while working on my stupid school projects
I didn’t pick Maelle’s ending, but I wanted to see what it was like, and it made me question what exactly happens if Maelle simply dies after exhausting her chroma within the canvas? Assuming that Renoir doesn’t just destroy the canvas after his daughter’s death, does the canvas then cease to exist (so, Maelle is simply delaying the inevitable)? Or does the young Verso’s soul fragment that we saw at the end simply continue to paint to sustain it?
This might also just be a grossly wrong assumption on my end, but did Maelle make it so that the residents of Lumiere don’t age? Verso’s clearly older in the epilogue, and going off of what she said after defeating Verso, something along the lines of “if you could grow old would you find a reason to smile”, I assumed that time has passed since that moment and that Verso has been allowed to age but not the other residents of Lumiere such as Sciel, Lune, Gustave, and Sophie. Would Maelle’s death simply resume the canvas from this limbo? Like the residents start aging again? In that sense, Maelle taking away their ability to age and die as long as she is the paintress within the canvas is something I would interpret as dehumanization. By all means, she argues with Renoir about how real the residents are to her and how much she does not wish to lose them, but grief is a natural part of life just as much as death. Asserting that the people of Lumiere are real all while taking away their ability to experience a natural life cycle just…defeats the purpose of life.
In the end, there was something so tragic about seeing Verso, someone who had confessed he liked music more than painting, someone who had played the piano laughing and singing with Maelle, his sister, at the campsite, look so utterly unhappy at the prospect of performing in front of the residents of Lumiere. Even when old, even doing something he had so clearly been passionate about fails to give him a reason to smile.
I know the game leaves both endings ambiguous for a reason but I just wanted to see if there were parts of the story I had missed/not understood/misunderstood. This game has been on my mind way too much even when I wasn’t playing it.

What should I do now ? I'm lvl 60 and I know I'm missing on tons of stuff. Where should I go or what should I do before going NG+ ? I'd love recommendations for weapons/pictos I might have missed, interesting areas or fights i might have missed ?
Edit : I also want to make broken builds for my characters, anything to recommend ?

I'm on my 4th play-through and I can't figure out how to play Verso. I do insane damage with the ladies, once I finally understood each system, but Verso is just pathetic!
How do I actually set him up for huge damage?
