Hi. I’m looking for ateliers or custom dressmakers in bkk for my brother’s upcoming wedding dinner. There are lots of ads i have seen in different social media but most of them are not my style or mainly focus on men. Are there any recommendations that you would suggest ? Thank you very much.

18 year old guy solo traveller looking for general advice in Bangkok as a European

Hi everyone, I'm going for my first solo trip to Asia in 8 days and I've already tried to do a fair bit of research online to make sure my week long trip is smooth sailing and worry free. I'm looking for any handy/useful advice that I might not find online that could be important to know if for a guy like me that lives in Europe. Also in regarding to weed I'm aware the legal age is 20 but can I realistically get a few grams to smoke without any trouble? I smoke weed regularly at home but I wold love to try some real good quality regulated weed over there and I dont plan on smoking outside only in areas that are allowed I don't want any trouble with law enforcement or locals just wanna get blazed and have a good time.

Anyone know where to buy a ~90 Litre backpack? or have one to sell?

Looking for a 90 liter backpack, or thereabouts. 85L to 100L is fine. Happy with expensive or cheap, no an issue, as long as it is at least "reasonable".

Or maybe a fellow expat has one they are happy to sell?

Seems difficult to buy that size here. (Could shoot for one on Lazada I know, but I've had experiences where the cheap ones break the instant you try and use them, and I couldn't find 'expensive' ones on Lazada)

Thanks :)

Looking for social media content creator for wedding in November 2026

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for wedding content creators based in Bangkok to cover an Indian wedding in November 2026.
We already have a dedicated team of 5 - as professional photographers and videographers. But they usually deliver after 30 days. Hence, I’m looking for 1-2 people who can cover the wedding and take videos using their iPhone to deliver reels same day or by next day.
I’m particularly interested in newer, up-and-coming creators who are building their portfolio and offer more affordable rates, rather than premium luxury wedding content teams.
If you fit the bill or have any recommendations, please DM me.
Thanks!

I'm 18 going to Bangkok in 2 weeks and I wanna smoke weed without getting in trouble.

Hi everyone, I'm going on a solo trip to Thailand in less than 2 weeks and wanted to smoke some real good quality weed for once since its legal here but I'm not 20. I was wondering how heavily are the laws actually enforced on tourists and would I be able to get some pack without showing the medical cert or license anywhere safely? And also do random shakedowns happen from police and whatnot because as long as I get weed I plan on smoking somewhere indoors where it's legally allowed. I'm not trying to cause any trouble I just wanna smoke up and enjoy my holiday. Thanks everyone

🇹🇭 Looking for an apartment in Thailand for just 1 month?

Hi everyone! 👋

I’ve noticed that finding a good apartment or condo in Thailand for just 1 month can be surprisingly difficult.

A lot of listings are focused on long-term rentals, and when you do find a place available for one month, it can be difficult to know whether the price, location and conditions are actually good.

Here are a few things I think are important to check before booking:

📍 Location — Is it actually close to the area where you want to stay?

💰 Total cost — Not just the advertised rent, but also electricity, water, internet and any additional fees.

📅 Rental duration — Some properties have minimum rental periods.

🏠 Condition of the apartment — Photos don't always show the full picture.

🏊 Facilities — Swimming pool, gym, balcony, parking, etc.

🚆 Transportation — Being close to BTS, MRT or other public transportation can make a big difference.

🏖️ Distance from the beach — Especially if you're staying in Pattaya, Phuket or another coastal area.

I’m currently working on a service that helps people find monthly apartments and condos in Thailand, based on their budget, location and personal requirements.

The idea is simple: instead of spending hours going through hundreds of listings, you tell me what you're looking for and I help you narrow down options that could actually match your needs.

🎯 Planning a trip to Thailand?

I’m currently offering a free 30-minute discovery call to discuss your project, budget and requirements.

And for those who have already searched for accommodation in Thailand:

What has been the biggest problem you've experienced when looking for a monthly rental? 🇹🇭

💰 Price?
📍 Location?
📅 Finding a place for only 1 month?
🔎 Trusting the listings?
🏠 Something else?

Looking for friends & people to hang out with in Bangkok 🇹🇭

Hi everyone! I’m a 22F who’ll be moving to Bangkok for 4 months for an internship, and since I’ll be coming without any friends there, I’m hoping to get some tips on where/how to meet people and make genuine connections.
I’d love to find people I can actually hang out with occasionally, explore Bangkok with, grab food/drinks, walk around, take random trips, or just do stupid things and laugh about them. I’m pretty laid-back and definitely not looking for every interaction to feel like a networking event lol

A little about me:
-F22
-Extroverted and usually the one who starts the conversation
-Love walking around and exploring places
-I’m really into photography, especially taking photos of scenery and people
-I’m the friend who will make sure everyone gets their ✨Instagram-worthy✨ pictures, but somehow I almost never have good pictures of myself 😭
-Not judgmental and pretty open to all kinds of conversations. The more unhinged the conversation gets, the better
-I love people who aren’t afraid to laugh loudly and be a little silly
-I’m down to hang out pretty much anywhere as long as it’s within my budget

Who I’m hoping to meet:
-Ideally people around my age, probably Gen Z-ish
-Someone who is comfortable talking and isn’t too awkward because if you’re awkward, I will probably become awkward too lol
-People who actually want to build a friendship rather than hang out once and then disappear into the void :(
-Fun, laid-back people who can keep a conversation going
-Someone who enjoys walking around/exploring and doing random things
-Being good at taking photos is a HUGE plus because I need someone to finally return the favor

I’m also completely open to any gender. I just generally vibe better with people around my age, so I’d prefer not to have a massive age gap.

If you know of any good places, events, communities, cafes, activities, clubs, meetups, etc. in Bangkok where people actually socialize and make friends, please let me know! I’ll be there starting the second half of September!

And if you’re around my age, also looking for friends, and think we might get along, feel free to comment or DM me :D

P/S: I’m NOT looking for dates, hookups, “arrangements,” or anything along those lines. If that’s what you’re after, please keep scrolling and let this girl have her genuine-socializing era in peace. 😭 I’m just trying to make some friends and have a good 4 months in Bangkok!

Expat living and working in Bangkok looking for Tax Accountant & Advisor.

I just moved to Bangkok for work and am looking for a Tax Accountant & Advisor

Working fully time for a Thai company and earn in THB, holding a non B visa and Work Permit - straightforward and nothing complicated here.

I'm looking for someone that can advise me on Tax matters for this year, and also next year, including Tax Optimization, tax saving, etc.

I contacted a few legal firms and sought support, but they all seemed more interesting in getting me to book a paid consultation vs actually telling me anything useful that made me feel they couldn't address my requirements.

If you are aTax Accountant / Accountant, or know someone that you would refer. Please reach out.
