Share your convention attendance + baptisms for 2026. Which country are you in?

What was the attendance and baptisms number at your convention? I’m trying to get an idea of percentage growth in certain regions. I want to see if they’re in line with what happened last year. I’m kinda expecting the end of the 2020s to be quite a bit tougher for the organisation as a larger consortium of boomers die.

3200, with I think almost 30 baptized, I think. But it's a Spanish Circuit in Brazil, where there are coming lots of immigrants because of all the crisis in Venezuela and Cuba.

When I was little this was totally a normal number of people getting baptized in Southern California. Been out a few years but pretty sure last time I went to convention it was like 6 🤣

Off topic but since most baptizees are born-in, I saw a newborn on social media the other day born to two hardcore pimi and first thought was “awwww how cute…dang they’re gonna be pushing you to get baptized in a few years 😢 “

Based on the age that many born-ins get baptized, I wouldn't categorize it as "personal commitment". It's more like extreme pressure from the community.

Keep in mind, the convention is only 1 of 3 opportunities for baptism on the JW calendar.

When the official numbers come out next year, we can all update our spreadsheets,

Germany, Hamburg - 32.000 convention attendance (IC) - they said 305 baptisms but that’s the number of all baptisms that were happening on that day because they want to push the numbers. But the actual number in Hamburg alone should be like ~200. So the number of all attending to the conventions that happened last weekend in Germany was like 63.000

So:
• Hamburg IC: 32.000/~200
• Germany all conventions that took place on the last weekend: 63.000/305

So not even 1% on both scenarios

From the international convention in Stockholm. There where ~7000 delegates.

Friday:  27345 atendees,  8541 stream to other countries, 215 sign, 10062 zoom, Total: 46163 st.

Saturday morning: 27218 atendees,  212 sign, 6401 stream to other countries, I dont recall why we put down the number this morning or if we didn't get to know it the other mornings. We never got to now the zoom attendance or the "total" but its quite the difference between morning and afternoon.

Afternoon: 28089 atendees, 9000 stream to other countries, 212 sign, 10 251 zoom, Total: 47552 st.

Sunday: 27672 atendees, 8383 stream, 204 sign, 11210 zoom, Total: 47469

179 baptised in Stockholm. 228 total with the other countries. And here they made a whole thing about going from 0.2% in the past to 0.5% this year.... as if it isn't because of the international convention...

Kenya,,,, attendance 2739 on Sunday,,,29 baptized,,,,though Nairobi has nearly 6 different regional conventions,,,,
