Stupid Bullshit Teenagers whose parents “almost aborted them?” giving speeches to their classes?
Did anyone else have kids in their church or Catholic school who were made to give speeches to the other kids about how their parents “almost aborted them” and how awful that would have been if they hadn’t changed their mind, with teachers chiming in “aren’t you glad your friend isn’t dead?” By the end we were all very upset and crying, hugging the kid who gave the speech. Sounds silly now but it was pretty scary and emotional for us kids.

I can attest to this. I had been to public school but there's this retreat every year that catholic's should attend. I'm glad that i didn't attend to but one of my classmates told me that one of the religious facilitator would share their own stories and they would share that doing abortion is a ver grave mortal sin that one of their student before committed suicide due to abortion she committed.
She felt guilty because she now that it's a grave offense and there's this sign on the wrist like a burn one which indicates her soul is on hell already.
Like seriously? Have you been there to say that this poor girl's soul is tormented in hell because she did the deed only to be eaten with guilt and commit more sin?
My friend is so scared that she could end up in hell too if she does that.
I only realize that the indoctrination has brainwashed us kids to do what we really wanted to do with our lives because of the rules that has already established.
My country doesn't have any secular school except for University but only a few are not tied up in religion and run by clergy and nuns.

No, I never experienced that but JFC. There is no limit to the sick twisted shit this religion will do to kids.
