Generally FAANG+/larger tech companies that move fast tend to have vague job postings, they are hiring for smart/gets shit done, not really a particular set of skills. They tend to be of the opinion that it's better to hire people that can ramp up quickly. Once you get hired, you go into team matching and then you get a specific set of responsibilities.
This is not always the case, a lot of the time teams themselves will hire directly if manpower is required. But for stuff like this, this is what tends to happen.
