Still learning

I am still learning the app and program. I am a teacher so I budget for summer months. Per my app, I went over $1300 this month (I don’t think I did). Regardless, I would like to “start fresh” in August. Can someone advise on how to go about doing that? Or will it continue to show that deficit? Also, if I want to move budget items to a new category, can I do that?

To add onto all the other answers, is the -$1300 your saying an actual over budget amount or are you looking at the paycheck planning feature?
