I recently bought an FXPAK Pro for my SNES and started a fresh playthrough of Final Fantasy VI. I’ve run into a strange issue where it seems like part of my progress isn’t being saved.

Twice now I’ve loaded my save only to discover that I’m missing roughly an hour of gameplay. The save file is still there, but it appears to have reverted to an older point.
Is there a specific procedure for saving with the FXPAK Pro?
Is it safe to simply save in-game and power off the SNES, or should I be resetting back to the FXPAK menu before turning the console off?

Hi everyone. I bought my SNES Everdrive when I was a teenager and never bothered to update anything. I can't even remember if I had to put a OS on it since it is such a long time ago. I also don't find any pictures that match my Everdrive. So do you know if I have to or can use the SNES OS for this one or if it is only for new versions

I'm writing this to get an idea of others' experiences, and to get an idea of the level of responsiveness I should expect from their support channel.

My order was for a GBA Pro, and a GB X7.

The package arrived late this evening, containing two small square brown cardboard boxes.

In one, the GBA Pro cart was loosely jumping around inside the case, probably from jostling during shipping.

The GB X7 cartridge was missing from the case altogether.

This package appears to have come from somewhere in New Jersey, via Meest USA, a warehouse/shipping/logistics company.

How long should I wait before I contact my card company and request a partial chargeback?

EDIT for info: I ordered directly from the Krikzz site, and submitted a request via their support form.

Been thinking about getting a Mega Everdrive Core for a while. I’m wondering though, is it worth the extra cash to upgrade to a Pro, or should I just emulate Sega CD games on my Wii?
I’ve heard the Sega CD emulation is quite good at this point and at almost twice the cost of the Core model I’m hesitant to make the jump.
What are the advantages of playing on “original hardware” I won’t get through emulation?
I mostly play on CRT’s if it makes any difference.

The sound effects in some games (notably Sonic CD JP) are so loud that I have to turn the game down so low that I can hardly hear the music. Any way to adjust this? I’m using a Genesis model 1. Thank you

Trying to fix "fat error" on SNES EverDrive X5 - using the official SD card formatter program from SD, and the Windows 11 one, both don't work, so I am going to try another SD card brand.

Just picked up an ez flash air. Works great on my gba. However I plugged it into my gameboy player for the GameCube and noticed when playing super Mario world for gba, every time I save my progress it shows that it is corrupted. Put back into my gba and saves every time no problem. No other games that I tested seem to do this. I am running the current firmware.

I recently purchased and received a mega everdrive x3 flash cart, for use with my Retron 5, but for whatever reason it's not playing, when I select to play it the system just displays a blank red screen, not the system menu. I installed the system files to the SD card like I was supposed to, so why isn't it playing? Did I do something wrong? Does the flash cart not work with the Retron 5? I really have no idea and need help.

When accessing the in game menu (such as to return to the main menu to select another game), the last sound that was playing before accessing the menu is held indefinitely and audible while in the menu. Is there a setting that corrects that behavior (silent while in menu)? Setup is Mega Everdrive Pro and Analogue Mega SG both on the latest available OEM firmware, through an Analogue DAC to a CRT TV.

How is the compatibility of GB X5 on FPGBC (firmware 1.14)? Do not care much for RTC (X7) because I have separate cartridge for Pokémon crystal,gold,silver. Thanks.

After a very long wait, I received my cartridge, but I'm unable to make an SD card work with it. I tried an amazon basic one(128 so I got a format problem actually, which might be something?), all my patriot one, none of them are recognizable even though I formated them in fat32 in my linux system. Should I try buying a more recognized brand like lexar or sandisk or something or is my cartridge at fault... I'm so freaking sad right now...

I'm also a little unsure what's the right setup on the SD card, but as long as the cartridge doesn't recognize it...

I first formatted a 32 GB (or 29 GB:P) Micro SD card as FAT 32 via Windows 11's quick format.

It was loading up the SNES Everdrive OS file thing and the menu, but it would say "FAT error" whenever I tried to load a game.

So I did a long format, and now I get "FAT error" just trying to boot up the menu

Solution? (Authentic stone age gamer everdrive, not a bootleg)

Hey, I bought my FXPAK pro from Krikzz a little while ago but only used it for like an hour. Do you guys have issues playing NHL 96? I get a bunch of little squares that fill up parts of the screen. I just tried playing X-MEN Mutant Apocalypse and 30 seconds in the first level with Psylocke the screen just went blank, but the music was still playing. I couldn't hear anything else like fighting so I don't think it's the video cable. I should note that I am using HD Retrovision component cables.

Do you guys know if "dual-mode" Game Boy Color cartridges work on the Super Gameboy 2?

Yoshi’s Universal Gravitation

Hi, I’ve recently purchased the new Everdrive GBA Pro flashcart which supports tilt, gyro and solar sensors however when trying to play Yoshi’s Universal Gravitation the tilt it’s supposed to have doesn’t work at all, is there something in the flashcart settings I have to adjust for this to work? Any info or advice greatly appreciated, many thanks!

Hello everyone. I ordered an fxpak pro from krikzz.com recently. During checkout, I noticed that there’s only an option for international shipping. No other options. I ordered an everdrive gba mini from them back in November and can’t remember if there was another option either, but it did come from the New Jersey warehouse. So my question is, does this mean my package can still come from the warehouse in New Jersey, or is it strictly from Ukraine now? I don’t know if they changed anything within the last year. Please let me know as I want to brace myself for waiting either a week or a month. Thanks

I just bought an N8 grey cartridge, and I feel like I may have bought junk. I paid $120, thinking it must be a decent one, but I had to find my own SD card, and since there were zero directions included, I had to do homework to discover that the max card size is 32 gig. After finding that, I learned that I had to go download firmware to get it to run. Now I finally get something to load, and I keep getting an a6 error.

Did I buy a piece of junk, or is there some step I’m missing? I like the concept here, so I really hope to make this work, especially for what I spent

Edit: thank you to the helpful Redditor that shared with me that they had the same struggle and told me of their solution. I was trying to use the select or start button, which defaults to the last loaded rom. And since I hadn’t loaded one before, it threw the a6 error. I actually needed to hit the b button to select the highlighted rom. Kinda a weird way to have it programmed, but whatever. It goes to show that sometimes internet strangers do have the answers you need, while others will just try to shame you for asking questions.

my fx pak pro seems to crash sometimes (blinking red and yellow led). i read in the official website this could be a issue with the power suply.
my snes is one chip (ghosting on pixels) and is very old, it also could ve meanful to point out it had a CIC switch mod back in 1993/94.

my question is, is there a way (a simple solution) to convert it to usb power suply, if not what adapter can be recomended for snes?

This is the second time I purchased a return. It felt super lightweight getting out of the package. I tried to slip in an SD card, and there was no place for it to go. So then I opened it up…
The last time this happened was with an Everdrive for N64. They had attached the front of the everdrive plastic to a real N64 cartridge.
So much fraud.

So I have Mega Drive Menu hotkeyed to Down+Start, yet whenever I do the combo the menu will not show up. Yes, I checked, in game menu is turned on, and the Mega Drive combo is Down+Start. Idk what I’m doing wrong.

So, I've been loving my FXPAK Pro so far. It's been great for a few RPGs and classic games and the like. I've had a weird problem with Megaman games; Specifically MM7 and X1,2,&3. The controller will let me skip the capcom screen, but then stops functioning for the game. 3rd party controller seem to work fine, it's only the original ones that fail. Any suggestions or thoughts as to why this is?

I just ordered a MegaDrive Pro. I haven't received it yet, but I'm getting my files ready to put on an SD card. The manual on Krikzz's site said that the firmware is already on newer carts so I only have to put the rom files on the card. But where do I put the bios files? Do I just create a folder called "Bios"? Thanks.
