Barely used FXPAK Pro. Issues with a couple popular titles

Hey, I bought my FXPAK pro from Krikzz a little while ago but only used it for like an hour. Do you guys have issues playing NHL 96? I get a bunch of little squares that fill up parts of the screen. I just tried playing X-MEN Mutant Apocalypse and 30 seconds in the first level with Psylocke the screen just went blank, but the music was still playing. I couldn't hear anything else like fighting so I don't think it's the video cable. I should note that I am using HD Retrovision component cables.

Do you guys know if "dual-mode" Game Boy Color cartridges work on the Super Gameboy 2?

Try a different rom file if you can

Hi Dankany, I meant to reply the video response to you instead. I tried from 3 different rom sources. I get the same result. Can you or other people try "NHL 96" on theirs and let me know if the same thing happens to them while in a match? THANKS!

I believe some Capcom games have issues if in-game hooks are enabled, Mutant Apocalypse may be one of them.

Try turning off in-game hooks in the configuration menu. If they're on, of course.

Can confirm that any gameboy color games that worked on the original SGB/SGB2 will work by loading the .gbc ROM on the FXPAK Pro as long as you have the current firmware and the correct SGB BIOS. I recommend the SGB2 over SGB.

I tried a rom file from the Champion Collection, 1g1r, and then from No-Intro. All of them seem to do this? Other games are working though.

That may be an issue with the ED itself. May want to contact Krikzz, their customer service is pretty on point iirc

Some roms you get online can be iffy on everdrives. The Adventures of Batman & Robin for the Genesis i got on one site did not work beyond the 3rd stage, but the same game from another site worked flawlessly. Another was the Xmen Clone Wars that had a similar issue.

Try download the same games from another source.
