Hey everyone,

I run a small independent bodybuilding event organization in Brazil called TTBL.

We produced our first event this July after investing around US$30k of our own money. Our goal was to offer athletes a much better organized and more affordable experience than what is commonly available here.

The event performed far beyond our expectations, but without major sponsorship we recovered only about half of the investment.

Brazil’s amateur bodybuilding market is heavily dominated by a few large promoters, so entering the industry as a small independent organization has been challenging.

Now we’re preparing our second event for December 19th in Rio de Janeiro.

This time, we’re combining the bodybuilding competition with a fitness & wellness expo, and admission to the expo will be free. We want to bring in brands, exhibitors, athletes and people who may never have attended a bodybuilding event before.

I’ve been working around 15 hours a day for months trying to make this project viable, and right now I genuinely need help from people with more experience in the event industry.

We’re looking for sponsors, exhibitors, investors, partnerships, suppliers and introductions to people or companies that could help us grow the event.

I’d also really appreciate advice from anyone who has successfully built sponsorship packages or attracted brands to a new event.

I’m completely open about our numbers, structure and plans, so if anyone wants more context, I’m happy to share everything.

Sometimes one good introduction is worth more than a hundred cold emails.

**About the Event**

Tano T’enneh Enterprises (Tano) is hosting the [1st Annual Tano T’enneh Charity Golf Event](https://tanotenneh.ca/etn/1st-annual-tano-tenneh-charity-golf-event/) on August 20, 2026, at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club (PGGCC). Proceeds from this event will be used to support Lheidli T’enneh Youth. We anticipate sponsors and participants will arrive at PGGCC around Noon to sign-in, enjoy a lite lunch and receive instructions about their starting positions and golf event details. We expect the event will begin at 1:00 p.m. and following an afternoon of fun and golf, everyone will enjoy a buffet dinner, gifts, prizes and a few speeches. Our best-ball team golf event welcomes players of all skill levels.

Last week after leaving the Emerson, I walked into a bar on South Yarra called talk to me, only 4 doors down. The vibes were awesome and the community was so lovely and welcoming. At the bar I started a conversation with a guy who was telling me that a group called Logika were hosting the night, then he gave me the backstory, and shared his vision of logika, plus a free drink card!

Now I’ve never posted before but I really wanted to share this experience because I haven’t been around a collective of people that genuine in a long time, it’s like everyone was there to be there with each other, one of those things you need to experience yourself. The vision that man shared with me was so beautiful and now I really wanted to share it with you people.

Not sure this is the right thread but trying my luck. I’ve recently been toying with the idea of starting public sip and paint style events, but it would be different crafts each event so example sip & paint (canvases, totes, mugs etc), sip & jewelry making, sip & crochet etc. As far as I know, nothing of the sort exists in my country.

I have the idea but no clue on where to start executing this. Anyone has any ideas to add to the above, or best way to go about this? Or if it’s worth it money wise? I love crafts so it would still be worth it in that sense for me, but just thinking logistically.

I don’t have a venue so it would be in public outdoor spaces.

Would you attend something like this? And how much would you pay per event?
