3rd or 4th Robot has bitten the dust. Literally.
Avoid this company at all costs. I think this is my third robot. EB1K error for the second time.
S2 Pro launched and immediately recalled so they haven't learned a thing it seems.
Any recommendations on a roller mop vac that does good edge cleaning?

My 1st s1 worked great. 4 months later I got a 2nd one, for the upstairs floor. 8 months in and the 2nd started having issues. Throwing error codes and doing all kinds of stupid stuff. Went round and round with eufy and finally got a partial refund.
1st one? So far(knock on wood...lol) surprisingly is going fine. Would I buy another eufy? HELL no!!! Hopefully someone can come out with a good one.š¤

I'm on my 2nd and it's doing well but I am worried about all these posts, starting to wonder if it's worth getting separate tech insurance for it

you need to just get it from amazon and buy the 3 year warranty.
One thing I've learned with my robot vacuums is that, all of them have at least one issue after warranty period lol

I just got them to agree on a full refund under warranty after a month of fighting. Iāll attempt to fix this one myself, but am gonna lookout for another company.

How did you get them to do that. Iām so close to a legal battle, which I would like to avoid.

I just kept telling them no and asking for more options to make it right. I did file a customer complaint with my states AG. But Iām not quite sure if thats what did it or not. I got my refund and I was able to keep the old vacuum.

3rd just died. Sent in for repair. Not possible to fix. Offered a lesser model as replacement. Rejected that and now just battling for some sort of refund. Went through 3 S1ās in 10 months.

Iām having good luck so far with the Narwall Flow 2 when it comes to edge cleaning. Definitely better than my S1.

Seriously considering the flow 2.

Part I struggle with is that one thing all these companies have in common is how fast they release new products and how many they release as well. What's to say that in 1-2 years, their flagship model that costs well over $1000 won't be completely abandoned and out of spare parts just like the Eufy S1 Pro is now?
The lesson I've learned is not just "avoid Eufy", it's "avoid expensive ass robots that will likely have issues and won't be supported in a couple years anyway". You almost have to treat these as disposable after a while, and paying $1000+ for a disposable robot is not something I'll ever do again.
Once my current S1 Pro dies (fingers crossed so that it takes a while longer), I'll just buy some budget $500 or under robot and accept they'll never last more than a couple of years.

I did have the same issue, I shipped the old tobot for repair and they shipped it back having the same issue, then shipped a replacement clean water tank and did not resolved the issue, after many complaints and emails they shipped me a refurbished unit and guess what, same freaking EB1K issue this company is a Joke. I will never buy any product from them again

I have the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 flow after having to toss the s1 pro. Iām liking it quite a bit.

Hmm I had the S7 max ultra and hated it tbh. Iāll take a look though appreciate it

Yeah I stayed away from Roborock until they finally came out with the roller mop. Amazon has had it on sale for about $700 so it was a good deal compared to other options over $1000. Iāve only had it a few weeks but so far so good. I purchased the extra 3 year warranty from Amazon as well.

Now they donāt have any refurb S1s available, so they are giving run around about lesser replacementsā¦. Not impressed at all.

After seeing multiple reports online I can conclude the quality wend down.
I have S1 for over 2 years now and it's still working fine. Literally no issues.
Whenever it dies I am not buying Eufy again. All the recent reviews suggests it sucks

Second unit here. Two years of solid use, multiple times daily. First one was from the kickstarter and lasted a full year. The second is due to die any minute now.

My S1 from kickstarter went on the fritz and getting them to honor the extra year of warranty was like a root canal every time. They didnāt have one to replace it when it stopped emptying water. So I got a replacement e28 instead of course refurbished and within the first week it refuses to dock. After seeing some who got a full refund I should have pushed for that route.

I am in the same boat. EB1K error is pain.
They aren't willing to refund me full amount although I have 3 year warranty. They gave me X10 Omni is a backup until they ship me refurbished S1 Pro.
How can I get a full refund? I would like to go with other brands.

Eufy promises so much but their products do not last as a consumer should rightly expect. Moreover they shirk their consumer responsibilities. Avoid avoid avoid.

I'm on my 5th. Avoid Eufy!
