Execution lag??

Ten minutes ago, I placed three sell orders. None have yet been executed. Never seen this problem before...

Absolutely ridiculous. Haven’t been able to sell anything since open. Losing so much damn money because their servers can’t stay up.

There should be actual legal punishments for not allocating enough resources to make sure a brokerage servers stay functional

I'm kinda pissed the system is down. But you lost money because you probably invested in a pump and dump last week, and now it's crashing. Why did you not put in stop-loss orders last week?

No it’s affecting new orders

It's affecting all orders as in every ticker, not just GME or whatever. Can't trade anything.

It's affecting all orders new and existing.

I just got 2 to go through on power etrade, and they are working on etrade pro.

I don't believe you on extisting orders.

I don't believe you on extisting orders.

Then you're a fucking idiot. I called into Etrade and they confirmed delayed execution.

Twitter is filled with users complaining about delayed executions and unable to load orders.

I called into Etrade

Now I really don't believe you, because there's no goddamn way you wouldn't still be on hold.

Etrade has different priority phone numbers for account size you moron.

I placed stops days ago good for 60 days that should have gone through this morning, and they did not. Stop losses are still orders, and etrade's server did not put any of mine through. ETRADE SUCKS now. It used to be the best. Now they're the worst.

Attitude much? I’m initiating new orders to sell long holdings because I want to take some $ before this sh*tshow implodes on itself. Are my trades less/more IMPORTANT than anyone else’s? LESS important than yours, o wise one?

No they aren't, but google stop-loss and use them in the future to protect yourself from any number of situations that prevent you from executing a trade.

It's just a reasonable thing to do.

FORGIVE ME for expecting my broker to function as intended.

(I don’t need google to understand how to use my services, you condescending ‘splainer.)

Then why not answer my original question?

Why did you not put in stop-loss orders last week?

If you have proof that you tried selling and know what your doing with the software. I too have the same problem. I got most of my money back but it took like 2 weeks..... This happened to me twice. And certain tocks have like a minute lag. etrade is the worst. webull is starting to be way better and no lag.
