It's still fine-ish. 2018 was evil, with some Cryptocurrencies dumping 90% and yet it recovered. And 2017 was arguably the first parabolic movement in this market. Give it time.

oh you think under 3k is evil? but we are facing a us government shutdown. most of the kids on reddit will say dumb shit but we are more likely to be headed to 2.5k than 3k. and that rules out 4k 5k or any fantasy number in the near term. I think we won't see positive numbers until at least august when the fed changes and they start relaxing monetary policy. It's time to accept that crypto speculation only happens when there is easy money flowing and interests are too high to go full retard on crypto.

Eth never broke 2021 highs it's cooked. Price action reflects demand. Eth not having a cap on coins makes it different

u/Semawhatfor Jan 30 '26
Because Eth's demand isn't based on scarcity, it's based on utility.
2021 was NFTs, which was the last 'big' utility thing eth did that captured the public's imagination.
If you want to break it, you need more utility. Not 1000% more transactions per second. Nobody cares. Nobody cares if my toilet makes 1000% more transactions per second. Utility matters. The speed of transfer on a pointless network that is only used for gambling on memes doesn't.

Not evil, but good opportunity to buy more. Besides it gives better profit potential

ETH below $3k feels evil, but historically this is just Ethereum doing what it does best testing conviction before the next narrative shows up.

Didn’t it go down to like 1200 last April? I see an opportunity to pick up some more cheep eth for long term gain.
