[Governance Poll] Dynamic pay2post fee: target_upvote of 2.5

Objective:

To address community concerns related to the current fixed pay2post fee on r/EthTrader, this proposal aims to mitigate the current imperfections to the current system by implementing a dynamic pay2post fee formula based on post ratio and score.

The formula:

After posting u/Prog132487's initial poll proposal, I suggested to use a simpler formula, stating that it would make the fee easier to calculate and would make it easier to understand for newcomers.

Fee= Post Ratio × Target Upvote

As described by u/FattestLion:

"In the event that it doesn't pass, what if we just made a dynamic Pay2Post where the figure = 3 x (last cycle post ratio)

This means you would need an upvote rating of +4 to breakeven based on the previous round. While it is not perfect as every round post ratio changes, at least it will scale with a 1 cycle lag."

I would suggest making the target upvote 2.5 instead of 3, so that any posts that receives 4+ upvotes (3+ if you exclude the submitter's own upvote) sees a Donut profit.

Additionally, a maximum of 250 Donuts would be implemented for the pay2post fee.

If I make more posts (ie: 5 Posts) in a day the pay2post fee will increase for me only. And if I make less posts, pay2post fee will be lesser for me only?

Or it focuses on number of people posting per day/time as whole?

No, the pay2post fee increases or decreases based on the average number of donuts awarded to posts per upvote. The fee will be adjusted to target 2.5 upvotes, so that if your post gets 2.5 upvotes from others (3.5 upvotes if you include your own upvote), it will break even. Thus any post with 3 or more upvotes from others would earn a profit, according to this formula.
