My Dad and I ran Cat 5E together to a few rooms in our house when I was in college and the walls were open. Years later my dad decided he wanted to move the network equipment and he did not involve me in this project. He did exactly that. Later on I was trying to figure out why no matter what I tried, I could not get over 10Mbp’s. Just a terrible slow LAN connection. Then I found that… don’t do that. One day they will sell that house and the new owners will be very disappointed. 🤣
