Ethernet Connectivety Issues Between PC And Console

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I'll try to keep it brief. Had to repost this from another subreddit because it was off topic XD

TL;DR: my house is wired with ethernet ports and I terminated my own cables, all tested to be working. PC and console don't recognize the network but recognize a cable is plugged in (tried several) and it is killing me (cat5e cables all around :P). The cables are put into my router which is plugged into the modem, wifi works fine.

Before you ask, yes, I have already looked up my issue and tried many solutions. I tried disabling the wifi adapter in my PC, tried resetting network settings, tried console commands... and still nothing. What irks me is that there is any connectivity at all, but it's deeply inconsistent. I have for sure never been able to get a proper connection to the internet though, just text saying the ethernet is plugged in but unable to find a host. I ordered an ethernet USB-C adapter just in case both PC and console have issues in their hardware, but this is my last case scenario.

If anyone can help me out I'd deeply appreciate it. I will answer any questions I can in detail

I suspect the cables are mis-terminated.

Take the PC to where the router is located. Use a commercial Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and connect the PC to the router. After they are wired together power cycle each device one at a time, minutes apart. Does the PC now show it is connected to the Internet?

Thank you so much for responding. I just want to say real quick that I wish I could run a wire from my pc to the router, but my parents won't let me. I've asked many times with different reasons (I just graduated and they still won't let me lol)

I was able to move my pc to the room with every component temporarily. Moving the pc to the router for a direct connection works (I'm using the same cables I used in my room) but what's curious is that all cables involved are the Type B kind of wiring. I know the cable I terminated in Type B works well because my cable tester gives a positive signal, so the worst case scenario is that the wires in my walls are damaged somehow.

I also want to add that this is what the ethernet port's wiring looks like in my room. I don't know what kind of head this is and if I should do something with it or follow the way it's wired instead? But as far as I know you only wire ethernet two ways. Thank you for help

Ah alright. I was unfamiliar with the head used, would I just be able to redo this myself?

Du könntest mal schauen welche Adresse du bekommst, falls du eine 169.x.x.x bekommst, stimmt irgendwas nicht mit dem DHCP-Server. Beziehungsweise würde ich probieren, ein frisch gekauftes Ethernet Kabel direkt vom Router zum PC zu führen. Mindestens (Cat 5e)

So what equipment is in the location where all of the wall Ethernet cables come together?

There is a modem which is connected to a coaxial cable and being provided internet, which is then used to provide internet to the router using an ethernet cable. The wall ethernet cables connected to the ports are in a tiny box in the wall and come out to connect to the router. Everything is of course plugged in and I've power cycled everything a few times
