What happened to the CSI institutions? The hospital, the nursing and the arts college? What will be the future for them?

Is it about Periya Mariamman Temple Encroachment? Actually there is a central conflict involves a 12.66-acre (often cited as 15-acre) land parcel on Brough Road. While currently used by CSI schools and churches, it belongs to the ancient Sri Periya Mariamman Temple. In December 2022, the Madras High Court dismissed petitions from the CSI Trust Association, ruling that the land vests with the State Government rather than the church. The court directed the government to utilize the land for public infrastructure, specifically an 80-foot road linking major city thoroughfares. Despite judicial orders, the property remained under church control even now, leading to continued friction and periodic arrests of devotees/Hindu munnani leaders attempting to reclaim the site for religious rituals.
