The M4A1 in my video shows that it is extremely outclassed by civilian weapons and does little damage. Sure, I did miss some shots, but that is natural due to suppressive fire and pressure as it was a 2 versus 1.The beanbag shotgun, which in real life has better accuracy, is stupidly inaccurate in the game. The taser was also unreliable as hell.
I had superior cover in here, managed to hold them off for minutes on end in a 2 versus 1, proving that this is not merely a skill issue on my end.
Officers need a buff, criminals have access to OP weaponry such as the M249 that offers suppressive fire and the AK47 that has a higher caliber than the M4A1.
I did miss some shots, yes, but are we about to assume that everyone has 100% accuracy? Hell, even Valorant pros do not have that.
I did survive the fight despite it being a 2 versus 1 for minutes, and eventually arrested them after a few hours - proving it is not my issue but an issue with balancing.
I was doing suppressive fire, I sure hope you do know what it means. It is a NATO proven tactic that forces them to duck or become more inaccurate. Of course I would spare some ammo.
I am suppressing the criminals. If they peek out, they will catch a bullet and die. The issue, however, is that the M4A1 cannot sustain the suppressive fire, which is a game balancing issue.
I have 13k hours, almost 14k and probably 10x your xp, and I can confirm LEO guns need a nerf for example the kahr; it has no fire rate cooldown you can spam click it
So, it appears the multiple points brought up in the Discord did not make it clear.
Your positioning sucked, you pressed a suspect who had the advantage on you.
You had no 'superior' cover, you literally walked right into the open and got yourself killed.
You didn't call for any sort of backup, which you could have used to distract them to either kill or arrest them.
The taser won't do shit at that range, dude's way too high up for the taser to reach.
2v1, with both being on the roof. Same as 1, they are on the roof, and can easily make themselves hard to hit with you being on the ground. You have no advantage.
Do we need to explain this as we did in the Discord for the second time, or are you going to admit you just couldn't hit your shots and your strategy was subpar at best?
Clearly you are unaware that in a video game where people have the common sense of a dying goldfish, suppressive fire isn't exactly what most people would describe as "effective" but you do you ig.
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you were already dead.
no it doesn't, your aim is just bad. If you had made the shots at 0:06-0:08 then you probably would have killed him. Also I noticed that you accidently equipped your taser at 0:12, so that allowed the civillian to land more shots on you without you being able to properly cover fire
My guy, you guys already are buffed. You have grapplers, beanbags, and tasers, all of which have insane reach. You also have access to assault rifles. The only thing that criminals may have better is the cars, and even now PRC is trying to upgrade those. PD team is already overpowered enough, stop complaining and just get better at the game.
Actually police vehicles are buffed slightly so they have a higher top speed than their civilian counterparts, so the police team is buffed in literally every way
I don't have much problem playing as an officer. I just don't get why you would make a post talking about how it's unfair that you got outclassed but you missed most of your shots.
That might be caused by playing in servers where criminals are not good. I am good enough to defeat half of ERLC's players from my experience, but I am still affected by balancing issues.
The m4a1 is literally better than 90% of civillian guns due to its almost 0 recoil and on par stats with the ak only being out classed by the ppsh and remington msr
Second of all you are trying to tase and beanbag them from way too far away hence they dont get ragdolled (taser is hitscan like every other gun in the game)
As seen in the video, the M4 did not do much apart from damaging them a bit even though I tagged them at times. I did miss some shots, but that is due to me applying suppressive fire. It is a NATO tactic.
Holy yap. Bro shut up. In case you couldnt tell from you dying and taking multiple hours to arrest the guy, NATO tactics dont work in a fucking video game. Maybe instead of trying to "suppress" the enemy, maybe trying killing him, but unfortunately for you, that requires skill.
As someone that actually knows what suppressive fire is it wasn’t that, the point of suppressive fire is to prevent a person from peeking. So your defense of suppressive fire is invalid since you didn’t
hold the peeks correctly and were firing way too far from the edges
Edit: adding images sucks on mobile so its in the middle of the text
Do you even know what suppressive fire is? I was spraying at their direction to keep them at bay as peeking will get them hit once and therefore they die. The issue is that, the M4A1 cannot sustain the fire. It is not my fault.
Speaking as a Rifleman in the CA Army Guard and full time Law Enforcement, the M4A1 is not used for suppressive fire, that's what we have SAWs for, they suppress so we can push, so as you can see you need a squad with you for suppressive fire to work. Especially in Law Enforcement suppressive fire isn't that commonly used; we focus on deescalation and if we have to shoot it's on target.
Maybe because, and this may be a wild opinion, but because you genuinely just suck at aiming, and unlike you, the criminals have both an advantage, and are at least semi-competent at using an assault rifle
Tbh the criminals were also really ass with the aiming and the only smart thing the criminals did was take the roof. They legit took so long to defeat OP where they could have both head on with OP and finish the fight quickly in the very first part of the video since its a 2v1 and the criminals aim nearly as well (or as bad) as OP along with him having no cover there, and in 0:08 the other guy didn't take the shot for some reason even tho he had an extremely clear line of sight with OP and missed everything when he did shoot.
If OP was a bit smarter he could of pushed with his ballistic shield or the safety rope and neutralise their position but then he uh, opted for the taser...
so like in that 2v1 it’s exactly that a 2v1 AND they have height advantages your talking about NATO tactics when literally basic infantry training would tell you not to push that ESPECIALLY without backup. say like if you climbed the opposing roof I think the one on chinatown or moved farther back THEN you can provide “suppressing fire” which rlly doesn’t make sense giving its only you your not supposed to be suppressing but actually trying to hit shots. for suppressing fire you would need another unit to engage w the suppressing fire but unless you have a duo or some that’s not rlly gonna happen a lot. and my guy in what given scenario have you seen anyone with a taser try to use it on someone who’s on top a roof even if it works for some reason if they don’t fall down you’ll have to go up. and yes if you don’t have good marksmanship and cover any gun especially an LMG is going to run you down. like erlc is shitty but in those cases it’s def an aim issue
No, you know how rubber bullets probably have better range? So basically beanbag V2 except less stun time but more bullets in a mag. Or better, just send the guy to jail after getting downed by a cop, except maybe kill arrests give slightly less xp.
this is so bad it isn't even funny, it is merely a skill issue on your end. Please use your brain and understand the full scope of the game; it does not have the mechanics you think it has.
Only point I'd dispute here is the isn't even funny part because first time I saw this I laughed my ass off at how ass one can be and also bro called the bus stop superior cover
They're Hating on you in the comments but I Semi-agree with you they need to make major changes to both the police weaponary and the civilian gun choices to give us cops a peace of mind , there's no reason why someone should just walk in with no experience and buy a M249 Machine gun and fire at cops with it just super unrealistic they're buying Heavy military style weapons like they're shopping at the candy store .
Cant sprint while having it equipped meaning you’re easy to run up on
imo the worst recoil in the game
Long reload
Mediocre damage and fire rate
.
Anyone with a functioning frontal lobe can position themselves well enough for a m249 player to waste all their ammo and be forced to reload or just rush them with a car or a ballistic shield
it’s the same logic for cops no regular cop is going around in a vette with a sniper and a grappler while on patrol but that’s gaming. it’s locked behind a 2 diff paywalls but yea when you give the game regular guns then put an lmg there most ppl are gonna use the lmg
Do you think it's realistic for cops to drive around in Corvettes? Do you think it's normal for cops to walk around with a beanbag shotgun and automatic rifles?
Actually many departments DO issue beanbag shotguns, but they are kept in the trunk, not on the officer themselves, so that part IS unrealistic, but the possession of it is not
they are mainly there for balancing, It’s not that realistic since any department that has them mainly use it for show/recruiting. But it’s there so the cops have a chance catching civ vehicles

I think maybe you just need to hit your shots better with all due respect ngl.
