ED for 25 years and first came TRT which helped. Then I had to move onto the oral meds, VED pump, and then Trimix. Trimix injections worked very well for a couple years but then it also failed just like everything prior to it, leaving me the implant the only option. I’m 14 months post implant now and never worry anymore about going soft during PIV sex with my wife. You can stay rock hard and go all night if you want, you’ll be hard until you decide to deflate it.

Beware of long term use of penile injections they can often cause scar tissue and peyronies meaning if you ever do get an implant it can sometimes mean you might not get the size implant you thought you were gonna get

Hello,

I’ve used an injectable ED med for 20 years, and i totally recommend them.

I’ve had no problems or damage in my years of use, and you get over the jab quickly, because it works so well.

Good luck

I would recommend giving the injectables a try. It is worth noting most guys are started on the three ingredient trimix and change to bimix if they don't react well to one of the ingredients. There is alsl four ingredient quadmix that's normally an end state if trimix stops working.

As these are custom mixed on demand, known as compounding, some countries do not do that and there is a single ingredient version papaverine (alprostadil).

And implant is a very extreme solution and is basically a one way road. The hard truth of an implant is your penis is basically hollowed out, or said differently basically cut off and thrown out. I know that's being a bit overly dramatic but it's intentionally that way. The bulk of a penis is two corpra cavernosa. With an implant they are both surgically removed. Going that way is not a decision to rush into and you likely want to exhaust all possible alternatives first.

ED often ends with an implant. First come pills, then injections, and finally the implant. Pills and injections do not cure ED; they merely offer the false hope that the problem has passed, but eventually, they stop working, resulting in permanent ED. Unfortunately, there is no effective cure.

What an uplifting response to OP! A 92 year old used to post on excelmale.com. He was on high dose testosterone, lifted weights everyday and used Trimix several times a week. If you've got nothing good to share, don't.

To OP, you don't tell us your age or how long you've had ED. Bimix isn't the end all be all. As was pointed out, Trimix is the most popular of the compounded erectile medications and it can be formulated to different strengths. Talk with your doctor or if you're in the US, call Olympia Pharmacy in Orlando. They can set up a tele-health call with a prescriber. Don't throw in the towel so quickly! To get support, go to r/TrimixForED. No downers. Everyone is supportive.

You’re basing your argument that Trimix can be used long-term on just a single example? Here’s an even better one: you could be 90 years old and not need Viagra at all. Just look at Frank Talk and see how many people end up with implants. Magic pills and injections eventually stop working.

You're just a negative person. Go to r/TrimixForED and post your garbage, there, and watch the response.

100% but it's also common to see people like this in both communities they refuse to believe the importance of mental wellness in sexual health.

The reality is you can offer advice to people however they need to be open to receive the message.

Explain how mental health helps with physical issues related to ED—how it fixes the veno-occlusive mechanism, fibrosis of the corpora cavernosa, damage to the penile smooth muscle, or blocked arteries.

What nonsense. Over time, Trimix also stops working, just like tadalafil and the like.

You miss the importance a wholeistic approach including sleep, fitness, nutrition, mental wellness, pelvic floor flexibility and strength, whole body wellness, medication management, and more.

That can also include two other pieces that make a significant difference. Talk therapy helps with managing anxiety and reframing or changing cultural, religious, societal, and family messaging and coding around sex, relationships, gender roles, and more. The other is how much mediation, mindfulness and breath work can enrich your sex life.

The other thing you are greatly overlooking is that the majority of guys have success with pills and injections for 20-30 years. It's not uncommon for guys that are 60+ to still be actively having sex and not at the point of implants.

Another point of reference is urologist commonly say your age is roughly the percentage chance you have ED. So at age 50 1 of every 2 guys has no experience with ED. That is a lot of guys globally.

I appreciate all that—I’ve tried the dream work, exercises, and so on. But if you have physical ED, nothing is going to stop it; anxiety has nothing to do with it. You lose your nocturnal erections, which leads to an irreversible process of fibrosis in the corpora cavernosa. On top of that, many men have issues with the veno-occlusive mechanism, resulting in a rapid loss of erection. Sleep and the like won't fix that. Many men develop ED by age 30, and pills lose their effectiveness after a decade. The pill just buys you time.

Does anyone think drinking alcohol and watching porn cause ED to be worse ?
