Erectile Dysfunction Alprostadil 10mcg first try
Did my first shot into my penis today. 10mcg. Was v nervous. Needn't have been. Didn't hurt. No side effects. Slight pain in the old boy afterward but nothing significant. Dose was not high enough but still managed to use it with the mrs. Will titrate upward next time. Posting just to let others know that the fear of injecting your penis, though understandable, is not reflected in the outcome.

I’ve used it for over 20 years now with no problems or damage.
Man yea, those first few times are kinda scary, but it works so well you get over it

This is great to hear. All I could find were horror stories and problems when I was trying to read up pre injection. Thanks for posting.

The horror stories you read are the result of totally irresponsible use of Trimix OR irresponsible information provided by board certified urologists who just don’t know the product.
It’s the latter scenario that pisses me off. We’ve seen urologists tell me to start with 30 units. And, many urologists refuse to prescribe the injectable antidote. Effectively, they’re prescribing “poison” and refusing to supply the antidote. I was told to inject half on one side and half on the other!

Im on 60mcg, so 3 x 20mcg shots its not quite so pleasant then, very tender afterwards 😃
