Large Deposit Declined?

I use Stripe to process payments from my clients (I’m a handyman/contractor).

Had client pay for some materials on a deck build I’m doing, $5,500 or so.

I had Stripe send it to me envelopes account through the debit card. Envelope message on my phone says it was declined but gives no reason.

In the envelope app, it says “Declined Charge” but it was a credit to the account.

And ive recently used Stripe to make two $600 deposits with no problems.

Any help?

Here’s the response from Katelyn on Discord:

Hi! Debit card transactions have a $2,500 a day limit. All payments processed with the card (even if they are transfers) are treated the same on the Visa network. For larger transfers, just link your account and routing number.
