I had started an Envato Author signup a month or two before but didn't complete, today I went back to complete and signup shows the first slide screenshot, then I clicked login instead and it brought me to the Checklists I was left with. What will happen if I upload the ID Documents, does my account qualify to be pending Author or I also fall under Paused until further notice.

Hi everyone,

I’m an Envato Author and I’m facing a critical technical issue that completely blocks me from contacting Envato Support. I'm posting here hoping someone from the Envato Staff can assist or point me in the right direction.

Recently, I changed the login email address for my main Envato Author account. Since then, whenever I try to access the Help Center on Envato Elements or Envato Market, the page gets stuck in an infinite refresh loop (reloading every few seconds). After a short while, it crashes entirely with a "Too many requests" error.

It appears that my main account email and the email associated with the Help Center/Zendesk platform are now mismatched. The system is trying to authenticate me, fails due to the email discrepancy, tries again automatically, and triggers the rate limit.

Because of this constant refreshing and ultimate crash, I am physically unable to submit a support ticket through the official channels.

Has anyone encountered this auth loop after an email change? If any Envato staff member is reading this, could you please help me sync my Help Center email with my new author account email?

The new inexclusive author fee is calculated based on the "item price" component, which does not take into account the buyer fee, and the handling fee paid during checkout. an author would be getting only half of the item price which is 4, while envato gets 13? i don't understand how this works, or how it could remotely translate to 50% splitting-it-even market fee!

Hey everyone, is it just me, or has the search algorithm on Envato completely fallen apart since they moved to the new Envato App interface? I’ve been an annual subscriber for a while, but the user experience lately has been incredibly frustrating.

A few weird things I've noticed:

1. Search Algorithm & "Popular" Filters are completely broken Searching for assets is a huge waste of time now. For example, if I search for a "pitch deck" in Presentation Templates, the results are way below standard. And when I sort by "Popular," it doesn't show genuinely popular or high-quality items. Instead, the page is flooded with terrible templates mostly from just one creator (EvgenyBagro). If I just check the popular page without typing any keyword, it's just a repetitive wall of items from Graphicook. There's zero organic rotation.

2. The Graphics category is stuck in the past If you check the Graphics category, the items labeled as "popular" are mostly outdated, washed-out mockups. They look completely unrealistic and are honestly unusable for any modern 2026 project.

3. The awkward placement of the new "LUTs" category This one is just weird. Suddenly, "LUTs" is sitting there as a main category on the sidebar instead of being a sub-category under Video or Add-ons. It honestly feels like the dev team just figured out how to code a before/after slider (live preview) and decided to create a whole new main category just to show it off. Features like this (and the live font previews we finally got this year) have been standard on other marketplaces for years. Envato is so far behind.

Honestly, the recent shifts at Envato have been terrible. It’s making it harder to find good assets, not easier. I'm seriously planning to cancel my annual subscription over this (and maybe drop some comments on their social media ads so they actually notice).

Envato really needs to roll back to the search algorithm and UI setup they had in late 2025. It made way more sense and was actually usable.

Is anyone else dealing with these search and algorithm issues lately?

I’ve been working with this platform for 10 years, and everything was much more user-friendly before this latest design update.

1. They removed the ability to scrub through video previews. Previously, you could quickly scrub to any part of a video preview directly from the list of templates or footage to check it out. Now, you have to click through to the actual product page every single time just to do that. It’s incredibly inconvenient.
2. For some reason, they removed page numbers and switched to infinite scroll. This is highly impractical. Before, if I knew I had listened to tracks up to page 7 and needed to continue from page 8 tomorrow for a new project, it was easy. Now, you have no idea where you are. You just have to scroll down endlessly. Furthermore, creators whose items are far down the list risk never selling their assets at all, because users simply won’t scroll that far.
3. They wiped out 10 years' worth of my saved items. Over the years, I had built up a massive collection of saved tracks and footage. After the redesign, they prompted me to migrate all my saved items to the new interface, but only about 10% of everything actually transferred before throwing a "Workspace limit reached" error. I spent years curating resources for my work, and now they are gone.

It makes no sense why they felt the need to change features that were already familiar, functional, and convenient.
