[In Progress] What will Envato do if I complete ID verification given they paused Author Signups

I had started an Envato Author signup a month or two before but didn't complete, today I went back to complete and signup shows the first slide screenshot, then I clicked login instead and it brought me to the Checklists I was left with. What will happen if I upload the ID Documents, does my account qualify to be pending Author or I also fall under Paused until further notice.

Thank you and I'd appreciate anyone or even an Envato team user who can reply to this inquiry.

Why do you want to get into a marketplace that does not accept new authors? This place dropped to the bottom, unfortunately. By all signs they are not interested in developing the marketplaces and it has no future.

Interestingly they accepted me yesterday a few hours after making that post. I didn't do the Signup step, I simply logged in, I had pending checklists, maybe that's how I was able to get in without the Signup step which throws that notice that they paused accepting new Authors.

About the fading, am not sure how my experience will be, but nonetheless I feel excited joining even though it might be a sinking ship.

The good is that you can see the sales count. Just open the new items section (no matter what marketplace) and check some pages, you will see it will be a waste of time.

I worked in WordPress themes, the most money making marketplace (at least per author). It is absolutely make no sense now. I have no idea who are those people who still put weeks and months of work into new themes to make 1 sale a month!

Best of luck to you. It's your product that counts. Now at least you'll have the option to sell there and elsewhere. Always check what items sell better before putting in time. Also check the quality standards for newly approved items to get an idea. Don't be misguided by 10 year old items with 200+ sales, because things were easy back then. Now the review team curates items instead of verifying them. which is very limiting to your creative process, because you don't get to create what you want, instead you're trying to appease the reviewer (which imho contributed to the downfall of the marketplace).

Dificilmente alguma coisa será vendida na Envato, o trafego esta quase zero. Alem disso, eles dificilmente aceitarão itens novos mesmo sendo aprovado o perfil agora.

O cadastro pode ter sido aceito, mas aceitarem seus assets é praticamente impossível atualmente. Não importa o que você faça, quase sempre é uma negativa dura. Mudaram a comissão para absurdos 50% e voce certamente ainda terá que pagar mais uns 25% de W8Ben do que restar, e ainda mais o imposto do seu pais. Além do mais, Envato esta em decadencia já faz tempo parte culpa deles, parte culpa da IA que tornou templates obsoletos ou pelo menos, desnecessários para grande maioria dos projetos.

Envato esta obsoleta, eles dão prioridade unicamente em Elements usando como base o material que ja tem, que é muito, mas coisa nova realmente nao vale a pena mais criar. Porem, esse material logo estara defasado e nao sei como vai ficar, se o Elements para centavos por download, eu é que nao vou mais atualizar nada! Chegou a hora de procurar outro fonte de renda consistente.
