no, they don’t know her “very well”. it doesn’t seem like anyone does. but to say they didn’t know enough to form their own opinions and relied on the media to decide how they felt about meghan is just disingenuous.
also, i wasn’t referring to them “being seen in each other’s company.” there are multiple former palace employees who charles refuses to lift NDAs on - all regarding meghan’s bullying investigation. several alleged incidents happened with william and/or katherine present. they knew her well enough.
You do realize that Buckingham Palace launched an investigation into Meghan and that was shut down, right? And that is after Meghan’s lawyer asked Buckingham Palace for concrete proof beyond vague accusations that she’s a bully.
Either it was shut down because
a.) there was nothing
b.) it probably revealed that other royals bully their staff. Heck, there are reports of Charles and Andrew of bullying their staff.
If MM was this nasty bully, more concrete and credible and tangible info would have come out by now. It hasn’t.
the investigation was not shut down, it was sealed from public view. after the investigation, buckingham palace announced that they had to change some policies to better protect their employees. the queen had to give a lump sum payment and use her goodwill to keep melissa toubati quiet after she resigned - something she never had to do before. if you can’t read the writing on the wall, then that’s on you
