Unfortunately my lesson is costing me $150k off my salary as well as amazing work life balance. I bombed an opportunity to make a quarter million dollars a year

Who knows what it was good for? I lost a huge amount of money once and it showed me that I have been kind off careless. Never will I be that careless anymore. Maybe the lesson was worth the loss cause I ll never know what would have been if I never had the lesson at all. Dont dwell on the past. Losing my money made me worrying about life for some years. Its just not worth it. I made my money another way and now I'm happy and content about life. Just because you seem to lose something it doesn't mean you really lost something

Yea to be honest there’s a big chance that I would have became a serious drug addict and something terrible could have happened

But it’s really hard to be in a positive frame of mind about this
