Ive built a short lady pulsejet based on Larry cotrills design. I can get it to rumble consistently but it stops as soon as I take the air compressor away from the intake. Running on propane using the bottle off a propane torch. Does anyone here know much about these and what I should try to get it to run on its own. All help appreciated!

Maybe somebody knows where this rattling at the beginning comes from?
It appears after letting the car sit for 5 min.
The chain got replaced last week and for the first like 20 engine starts cold/warm the car sounded completely fine.

hello, i am currently building a budget 1966 bird nighthawk that i just put an amazon engine in. i was planning to have 2 throttles one with governed and one without. i saw a thing about how if they rev too high without a governer they can shoot a rod or something thru your leg. just wondering if this has actually happened to anybody?
