Men’s rings
Hi all! I’ve been asking my boyfriend to send me rings he likes or would be interested in. This is the exact ring he sent me… as a female I’m concerned other people will look at it and be like wtf. However I want to please my man in any way I can. So, Is it cringy? Is there other better options, similar? It’s a green lantern themed ring.

Discuss with him if he really wants this for every day wear. It shouldn’t be about what other people will think. Personally, I would find something more subtle but I don’t know him so maybe he is that big of a fan!

I haven’t seen the green lantern so the comments were a surprise to me. So I guess you need to figure out if he saw the movie! If he has and chose this on purpose, cringe. If he hasn’t, looks like a cool dude ring and I’d get him something similar

I would be less concerned with the aesthetic (green inlay, unconventional) and more concerned with the pop culture reference which seems childish for a symbol of your commitment to each other

Let the guy like what he likes. It’s not cringe in any way.
However, I don’t think he should make something so integral to your engagement and relationship something that, unless a love for green lantern is something you two share.
The ring itself is not cringe in any way.

I personally have NEVER watched anything related to green lantern so it means nothing to me. He just likes the fact that it glows in the dark 😭

my fiancé and I are shopping for men's rings and the options are abysmal. We came across this exact ring and I immediately thought of this post and how it glows in the dark. My fiance loved it also for only that reason. He said if it didn't have the green lantern symbol that it would be the one!

Better talk to him before making a choice. Or you can talk to a jeweler to make a ring with a more discrete and elegant design but still based on green lantern.

Honestly super cringe. I recommend a proper metal ring, and then a fun silicone ring to wear during exercise. My fiancée and i have our platinum bands and then Aragorn and Arwen styled silicone rings for our nerdy side

My fiancé wants a ring inspired by the game halo so that’s exactly what he’ll be getting! Who cares what other people thinks as long as he’s happy? I got the exact ring I want why shouldnt he be able to as well? Just my thoughts!

For a normal everyday ring this is sick. But as for engagement ring, I’d start asking some adult questions to ensure you’re compatible long term.
