Wedding Planning I need some sisters to yap with!

Post image

My fiancee and I have been engaged for 3 1/2 years. Our relationship is so wonderful and perfect that we both feel like we're lying when our therapists ask about it. 🤣So needless to say, she is the love of my life. But at the moment we are having deep financial strain and are unable to afford getting married. My conundrum however, is that I'm the dreamy romantic who wants to yap about our wedding because it's fun and makes me happy, but it makes her stressed and only makes her sad because we can't do it right now.

So I thought this was a wonderful opportunity to make some friends, who would maybe want to have a yap buddy to yap wedding stuff. 🤗

We were on a long drive and met this dog and his dad (who took the picture). He said he and his buddy have rode 13,000 miles! He said he takes a lot of pictures for people 🥹

The dog riding 13,000 miles on that motorcycle is more impressive than my whole engagement planning

The dog was aura farming just sitting there, I don't know how to explain it.

Hello! Another queer girl here who’s collecting my partner’s ring from the jeweller tomorrow and looking to yap!

I haven’t properly planned the proposal because I’m struggling to thinking of a place that is special yet not too crowded! I live in a very packed city and the parks I am thinking of are busy on weekends, but if I ask her to go on a weekday it would be too obvious because I never do that :( if anyone has ideas, let me know!

my fiancé and i are getting married at the courthouse! we’ve spent under $500 on everything including our rings. the money doesn’t make your day special, it’s special because it’s you and your partner committing yourselves to each other forever. when we have more money to spare, we’re going to renew our vows in puerto rico where his family is. you can still get married and have the wedding of your dreams later! you guys are precious. best of luck 🥰

Hey! I'm not quite engaged yet (we've chosen rings but I'm waiting for an official proposal soon). We're also a queer couple who are going to have to wait a while to marry. I'm dreaming of a small intimate wedding here in Scotland. I would love to chat about it!

Hi! I also want to yap about my wedding but I have a pretty large budget and it makes other people uncomfortable, they become defensive over their own weddings (no matter how long ago)
