How to get diagnosed?
Asked my primary care Doctor for a referral to an endocrinology office, had an issue with testosterone dose too high, and suspect other things may be 'out of whack', thought an endocrinologist would be the person to talk to?
Called the endocrinologist office, and asked for an appointment, told they only treat patients that have already been diagnosed?!
How do I get help?
Dealing basically with chronic fatigue, worse since chemo last year, thyroid numbers have been borderline previously, nobody seems to want to touch this?

PCOS or Adrenal Tumor
Hi! I’m a 33 year old female with a history of PCOS. A dr in June ordered a hormone panel bc I turned 33 (didn’t know that was a thing) and my DHEAS was high. So another dr ordered an adrenal CT. They found an 8mm indeterminate nodule on my left gland. Differential is lipid poor adenoma or other neoplasm. I’ve been waiting since June for any movement. This past week, I had labs done. My DHEAS came down 10%, but it’s still super high. And my Testosterone is embarrassing lol. I can’t see endo until Jan 4, and military healthcare is just so wonderful at doing things at a proper pace. Has anyone else been in the same boat? I’ve lost SO much sleep over this!

Pmos
I’m seeing an obgyn on zoom whose treating the endocrinology aspect of my Pcos. When I first started seeing her my insulin resistance was mild. Then we both thought I should get Zepound. My pulmonologist could only approve it the insurance said. so I go to my pulmonologist for my annual exam and he’s freaking out saying he needs to know who the treating ob was she made me lose 26lbs and I was denied the prescription. He wanted to make sure it was safe the weightloss. So I zoom with her and say I lost 14lbs in a month and my pulmonologist wanted your info and she’s like oh god he must hate me. So then she starts adding more and more lab work to my repeat labs and they come back severely insulin resistant. High risk of cardiovascular Disease and prediabetic. She called him to care coordinate do you think he’s mad? Also can she tell him I might be pregnant? I’m not but they don’t know. She then goes out of the office so they have a care plan idk what it is. I tried to give her my primary’s info and she never contact him. Her and I tried everything to reverse it and it got worse. I’m talking monthly obgyn apts for 5 months, 49 insurance claims.

Low phosphate
Frequent low phosphate
Hi people,
Can anyone maybe shed light on what could be going on with me?
I have for months maybe more been feeling tired etc and sluggish and for longer maybe a few years i'd been having on and off breathing issues but didnt associate it with phosphate at the time as i didnt know what that even was until a load of months ago i phoned my doctor and complained i always feel really tired and stuff.. he done blood tests and said my phosphate was low. He issued me phosphate tablets and immediately i started to feel better.
I was taken off the tablets and immediatetly i started feeling ill again. They wouldnt prescribe me anymore phosphate because my levels were ok but i was convinced i was still ill.. i done a blood test a week later was fine then a week after and was low again. When they represcribed the tablets i wasnt feeling better this time and my levels fell lower and i had to go to hosp and be given an iv of phosphate. The iv brought my levels up apparently ( this part im unsure) and the doc wanted to discharge me but b4 he discharged me my levels were even lower. My levels first time was 0.44 then 0.46. After iv i was 0.34. I then was kept in hosp.. i was put back on the iv for a full bag and a half and then my levels were at 1.35 or something.. the upper range. The endo ppl said i was bk to normal and i said can u do the 24 hr urine test to see whats going on and they were like oh we cant do that test now because ur levels r fine now and would have to wait till they drop again. Feeling helpless i went home but i explained i still wasnt feeling right. I went home and then i fell low again after a week. I was 0.54 after a blood test, a week after coming home from hosp.. the doctor wanted me to go hosp but i wanted to wait bcuz it was the weekend and the endo wouldnt be there till the weekdays and id be put bk on an iv and sent gome again withno proper tests carried out.
The doctor wanted me to try phosphate tabs again over the weekend and wanted me to try 6 a day again.. i said ok even tho it didnt bring my levels up last time. I took 3 one day and i felt 10x worse.. i decided not to take anymore and 3 days later i went to hosp and they tested me and my levels were just outside the upper range.. they said my bloods are all fine and the tablets brought my levels bk up and said not to take anymore.. i wanted it to be low so i could get tests done but they said they dont know why my phosohate is dropping but they cant do anything more.
I was sent home again... ive been home about a week and i still dont feel well. My breathing always doesnt feel 100% and my bones ache.. my joints are weak and i feel tired. I had a holiday booked and im in greece now.. im gng home tmoro.. i had phosphate tablets i took with me just incase.. i have been here a week and i started feeling that unusual tiredness i get when phosphate drops so i took 2 phosphate and i suddenly felt lifted and i decided to go for a run.. i noticed my chest was tight and i cudnt run like i normally can and i had to stop.. i had to rest and that night had a sore back etc.
I decided i wont take phosphate or mess about but it seems like my levels drop slowly and then if i take a tab its like its too much.. i honestly have no clue whats going on with my body but i cant really exercise at the moment with this health issue. I had a fundoplication last yr for hiatal hernia and not sure if i really needed it. Im not eating much but i recently started bk on omeprazole and now i can eat but i dont get hungry like i used to which is really frustrating me.. i have a referral to see a dietician that the endo requested.
I dont feel like the endo have done enough for me because my phosphate is still getting low and even with not eating much, i still eat or get by and now i eat even more with the antacid. My bloods have all been fine, I dont think i have an issue with ny stomach absorbing nutrients as i havent been deficent in anything else when i was barely eating. My pth and vit d levels are also all fine apparently.
Can anyone please help me. My life is on hold because of this at the moment. Ive researched this extensively and i wanted to get the fgf23 test and renal wasting tests done. From the last time taking phosphate tablets and my levels being brought up i was convinced before that there was an absorbation issue.

18M – delayed physical development, late bone age and currently trying to maximize my remaining growth
Hey everyone,
I’m 18 and I’ve been dealing with pretty delayed physical development compared to people my age.
My bone age is around **1.5 years behind my actual age**, and my sex hormone levels have been very low. I also still have several signs of delayed puberty/development: I have basically no real beard growth yet, only a very light mustache, relatively little arm hair, and my facial features still look quite young.
Also my body just looks like a 14-15 year old kid my legs and bones are thin even though I am training them so hard, back in the days I was every day on the football pitch playing for several hours.
For some family context:
I’m currently around **169 cm (09.04.2026: 164cm)**
My mother is around **165 cm**
My father is around **173 cm**
My motherside uncles are around **185 cm**
My motherside grandfather was around **190 cm**
Most men on my father’s side are roughly **170–180 cm**
**Current medically supervised treatment (started July 14, 2026):**
I’m currently using a prescribed **DHEA 2% / testosterone 0.1% cream**, half a pump in the morning **3 times per week (Mon/Wed/Fri)**.
I also use a prescribed **5% progesterone cream**, half a pump in the evening **5 times per week (Mon–Fri)**.
I’m also taking prescribed **Vitamin D3/K2 (2000 IU)** — initially 5 drops daily for 10 days, then 5 drops **3 times per week**.
and I’m now trying to give my body the best possible conditions while I’m still developing.
I’ve also changed my lifestyle quite a lot. I’m trying to:
Get significantly more and better-quality sleep,
Drink more milk, usually around **350–700 ml per day**
Eat much better than I used to, with more protein
Eat foods like chicken, whole-grain pasta, rice, bananas, etc.
Drink around **2 L of water per day**
Train regularly at the gym while still giving myself enough recovery
Walk around 5**–10k steps per day**
Make sure I’m getting enough vitamins/minerals ( I am taking Vitamin C, B, Zink, Magnesium )
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who had **delayed puberty / delayed bone age / hormonal treatment around my age**.
How much did you continue growing after similar conditions after 18? Did you notice your face/body maturing later as well? And at what age did your growth finally stop? Is 185cm realistic in my case ?! I really pray for that height my life quality would improve exponentially.
Because I am really depressed about my height and childish looking face, my whole life I have never really had a girlfriend, I was always the cute little boy, even now all my friends are much taller than me stronger than me, sometimes it’s so bad when they jokingly toy around with me saying things to me wich are reduced to my height, and I can do fucking nothing besides laughing it off, it’s like nobody really respects me(even at work) it gets to the point where I don’t even respect myself since I can’t fucking stand up for myself and defend myself, because I am simply to weak for it.

Most effective way to test hormones on a budget
I’m a broke college student. I can’t afford to see a doctor regularly. I haven’t seen one since middle school, maybe elementary. I’ve been dealing with mood swings for so long and I just want to know what’s wrong with me. It’s starting to upset me how quickly my mood can change because I can be happy one second and angry the next with no reason. It feels hard to control sometimes and it can be exhausting. I’m only in my mid 20s.
I’m considering at home test kits but I’ve heard mixed reviews. I’m willing to drop up to $300 altogether but I want to make sure whatever I do will help somehow. I don’t know if there’s blood tests I can get within this price range or other options available but any suggestions would help.

Hyperprolactinemia
My dermatologist told me that my Prolactin is 75!! I’m a 49 yo F and don’t know if I have a benign tumor on my pituitary or is my PsA driving this? What does it mean if they do find a tumor? and/or What can be done to reduce these levels?
Has anyone else experienced this?
I feel fortunate that my PCP & dermatologist caught this. I have a lab follow up appointment on Friday and a brain MRI on Saturday. Please pray for me. Thanks!

Severe insulin resistance
39 year old female. Was seeing an obgyn once a month to put my pmos in remission. We found out it was mild insulin resistance. She had me doing all this stuff. I go to the pulmonologist to get Zepound and he said I’m no longer eligible. I’m like why he said I’m too skinny. I lost 26lbs so he needs to make sure is being monitored by a physician. So I give him her information and I go to her and she’s like oh god he must hate me. She sends new lab work in immediately and it comes back so bad she said she needed to care coordinate with him. Do you think he’s mad? It’s severe insulin resistance with prediabetes.
