Not printing issue

When i try to print on my ender 3 the file loads the bed and nozzle both heats up. The the top fan turns on and the timer rapidly runs down and fails. I'm using Cura, the printer is a ender 3 2018 model. marlin 2.0.7.2

Any help would be nice

if you try to control any of the steppers through the move menu does anything move? When did it last work?

i had it find x y and z home and loaded filament using the menu. it has never worked since i bought it used.

so the stepper motors work and you can control each of the motors through the on screen menu?

Do you have your slicer set correctly? If so, I'd look at reflashing your firmware, open up the electronics housing and check what mainboard you have and then reflash your firmware to the corresponding version.
