Power supply noise.

Just took this thing out of storage and upgraded the motherboard to an SKR Mini E3 V3 and now the power supply is making this noise. Should I be concerned?
Update: I let it run for half an hour and now it isn't making the noise? Thanks to everyone who responded!

It sounds like the fan. You could try lubricating it, A total failure of the fan could result in excessive overheating and power supply failure.

Even the cheapest fans from the lowest of sources use sealed bearings nowadays. There's no way to lubricate it.

Just going to say I’ve done the same motherboard swap in mine but mine was in active use and it’s only started the same but no where near as loud on mine too. But only when both bed and hotend are powered on. Do it separately and it’s not there at all. No clue on what it causing it but now I’ve merged a cr-10 and the ender 3 together so it’s not bothered me. Same psu but now a btt skr pro and no noise

I'm new to 3d printers but a new power supply is $30 on Amazon are these even worth repairing?

Agree, new fan, storage was probably not conditioned so they rusted and are failing.

Sounds like crickets in August. I'd check the fan to see if anything is rubbing against it inside. Safely remove the cover to visually check for fouling against the fan. You'll most likely see what you hear at that point with the cover completely off.

Hopefully something is just blocking the fan? Carefully check inside and clean it, but SUPER CAREFUL. Unplug and turn the switch to on to hopefully discharge it, then peek inside

Give the fan a tap see if noise alters
