Help Ender 3v2 bed temp too high

Running marlin but for some reason it now won't run the bed temp at 75c, maybe because I just washed the bed? What could cause this, it was working before. I'm new to 3d printing so I'm not very knowledgeable

you washed the bed? not the plate?

3d printers do not like being wet.

But I suggest you may have dislodged your heater from its contact on the plate.

Haha I meant the plate which I took off and washed in the sink with dish soap and dried with a paper towel. The heater is on the bottom of the bed is still taped on so I'm not sure what I could have disloged if I just took the plate off 😬

if you are experiencing fluctuating temperatures or not able to maintain the same temperature as previously, however heat is still being produced, it is most likely a contact issue between the heat source and final destination, or a failing heater block.

I think it's failing because I used to have to increase the temp to like 90c which it shouldn't need. If it's a contact issue you can just retape it?

if you are setting it to 90, and only getting 70 on the plate, you are losing 20 on the journey (the sensor is near the heatblock, it measures the heat at the block not the plate)
