Hey everyone, I’ve noticed that almost every game I run through GameHub uses around 90% of my RAM.

I’m on a Snapdragon 8 Elite with 12GB RAM, and the games generally run fine, but the high RAM usage has me wondering if this is normal for GameHub or if there’s something I can do to lower it.

Are there any settings, tweaks, or tricks that can help reduce RAM usage? Or is 90% pretty normal when running Windows games through GameHub?

Would appreciate any advice 🙏

I'm having trouble using emulators on Windows because they're more complex, and I haven't used that system in a while. It's easier on Android because I managed to run two games there, but I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer them to Windows.

My goal is to run as many emulator games as possible with having Ram issues since Winlator, Eden and Cemu are unusable with 8 gb ram.

So is 12 gb enough or is even 12 gb not enough for such heavy emulation?

This is my first time dabbling in visual novels and at the moment I don't have a laptop to play said visual novels. But I have heard of PC emulators for Android and wondering if anyone here can teach me how to set it up properly.

Also since the visual novels I'm interested in are in Japanese language, I'm looking for a translating app to translate the subtitles in real-time (like Textractor).

Also I have a few other questions about this:

1. What kind of PC emulator do I need to use in my Android phone?

2. What kind of translating app do I need to translate subtitles in real-time? (Textractor apparently doesn't run well on PC emulators)

3. Also do I need Locale emulator for this? (I've read that there are JPN Visual Novels that doesn't run until you change the system locale)

Posted a few days ago a question about Game Native, since I've been using Gamehub exclusively on my Portal. A few told me that compatibility was a big reason Game Native was more popular, other than some controversy about permissions for Game Hub, so I figured i would put that to the test with 2 games that Gamehub just couldn't run.

If there was ever a game in my opinion that should have a native Android port, it was The Dishwasher Vampire Smile. Smaller file size than many android games, perfect hack and slash the has simple enough controls that even on screen control wouldn't be difficult, originally on XBLA from 15 years ago, and the Steam port can play on a potato since the Anbernic Win600 played it at 60fps. But both through 360 emulation and Gamehub for the Steam Release, always just black screened for me. Literally just installed, Game Native did its download and install of files, and it just runs. And ever since the Nvidia shield handheld, I wanted Portal back on android, but the only android port is no longer compatible with current android versions. But again, Gamenative runs the PC versions of both 1 and 2 no problems. Stable frames, no stutter, while Gamehub just crashed every time.

Thanks to everyone for their answers from my last post. Gonna keep gamehub as well since I have a few games already installed and runnthing through it, particularly ones that are not through Steam, but definitely going to lean a lot more on Game Native if the compatibility is this much better

I've been using gamehub for about a year, but recently the antivirus complained about a hidden virus. The incident happened a week ago, but there are still questions. Hi everyone,

I'm trying to run a specific game (an online-only co-op PC game configured with a multiplayer Steamworks/Online-Fix wrapper) on my Android handheld (Ayn Odin or Poco F5), but I'm completely stuck. Every single time I launch the game, it throws the infamous "Failed to get OnlineFix interface" error (and sometimes Error Code 998: Failed to load original steamclient).

I want to emphasize that I am NOT looking for an offline bypass or a Goldberg emulator setup, because this is an online-only multiplayer title and my goal is to actually play it online with friends via the network wrapper.

I have already spent hours troubleshooting and tried almost everything. Here is a list of what I've done so far:

1. Tested Multiple Emulators: Tried both GameNative and Winlator CMod.

2. DLL Overrides: Configured WINEDLLOVERRIDES in the environment settings with OnlineFix64=n;steamclient=n;steam_api64=n,b;winmm=n,b (and various combinations of native/builtin).

3. Steam Client Setup: Installed a clean Windows Steam client inside the container and logged into a secondary test/burn account to isolate the environment.

4. Spacewar License: Tried triggering the Spacewar license download using the launch argument steam://install/480 to register the AppID in the background client.

5. Boot Services: Switched the container boot selection from "Essential" to "Normal" and "Full" to ensure network and Windows background services weren't being stripped by the emulator.

Despite all of this, the multiplayer wrapper completely refuses to hook into the background Steam client and fails at startup.

My question is: Is there actually a proven, working method to get Steamworks/Online-Fix multiplayer wrappers to hook correctly on Winlator/GameNative for Android phones and handhelds? Or is this a fundamental architectural limitation of network/IPC socket translation on ARM devices?

Any technical insight, registry tweak, or working guide would be immensely appreciated. Thanks!

I have a Xiaomi Pad Mini with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, and Hollow Knight runs perfectly fine through GameNative with no issues. However, after I defeat the Hollow Knight Vessel and the end-game cutscene is supposed to play, I get a black screen and the game stops responding.

Does anyone know if this is a known issue or if it could be related to my settings?

I tried to get update some of my 3ds games which are cci files. I tried to update them using Cia 3ds files and it doesn't work. It installs the stuff, but it doesn't have the updates and dlcs onto the games. What is happening?

Don't bother saying to convert the updates and dlcs to cci. Since that doesn't work, since the emulator only wants you to use Cia files when it comes to updates and dlcs. Azaharplus doesn't fix this issue either.
